  • Phenomenal stay, 10/10

"Amazing experience overall. Would heavily recommend solely off of Steve and Joys hospitality. The cabins and surrounding property are beautiful, and offer an amazing atmosphere to stay in that really captures the mountain spirit. Steve was prompt and easily reached for any needs, as well as friendly, making the booking and staying process more than simple. The cabins are situated in a great area too, just minutes from trails, ski lodges, and the main highway. If you're looking for a memorable trip to the mountains with family or friends, I could not recommend these cabins enough. Everyone in our party is already looking forward to making a return trip."

  • Super family friendly!!!

"If your family enjoys farm animals or if you live in a city and would like your family to experience farm life, then I highly recommend staying at the Quiver!!! We took our city boy grandson age 10 and he had the time of his life! We were promptly meet as we opened our car door by two very friendly turkeys and a brood of chickens (is that what you call a bunch of chickens? humm). Followed shortly behind by the host Jeremy and his wife who showed us around the quaint cabin that was decorated so sweetly. With in an hour Jeremy was at the front door with the BEST raw cows milk and farm fresh eggs you can imagine. For the record I always buy farm fresh eggs but to date these were the best eggs and milk I have ever had. Don't miss out on making french toast in their 1940's styte kitchen, country style kitchen window with a view (usually a chicken in sight). The cabin was well stocked with everything you could need, right down to homemade laundry detergent, freshly ground local coffee (the best) and extra blankets for those cooler nights. And speaking of cooler weather, our purpose for coming to NC was for our grandson to experience snow for the first time...and so we did. Good job ordering up the snow J. When we arrived and for two days afterwards there was enough snow on the ground to sled right in their backyard, huge hills (at least from a Floridians point of view). They let us use a great old style sled. We also bought disks for 6 dollars at Ingles just 3 miles away. The farm yard and property are just lovely. The barn loft that has been transformed into a destination for weddings and used for milking cows below was a hit. In fact I may have enjoyed it even more then the grandson. Jeremy invited us out early one morning to help. We saw how chickens lie eggs in a coop, milked a cow, met 2 amazing dogs Maggie and Jackie, and a herd of goats. The location is only 15 minutes from Wolf Ridge ski resort and tubing and an hour from Linville Waterfall and cavern which I highly recommend. The city of Burnsville has a great Hot Dog restaurant that has a free game room upstairs in a loft. Asheville is only 20 minutes away as well. So I would say if you would like to stay in the country but be soooo close to so many great activities ( we only did a few, because we like the farm so much) then this is a cabin for you. Thank you Jeremy for being such an engaging host, your family is GREAT!!! Hope all your dreams for your property come true. God Bless!!!!"

  • Beautiful home near Asheville!

"I planned a trip for my husbands birthday with 10 adults and 4 kids and this house was perfect! The lay out was very spread out with lots of room and bedrooms for everyone to have their own space. The outdoor grill and fireplace were an added plus to relax and enjoy some mountain views. Some bonuses to this house, as I've stayed in many rentals, were the comfortable beds, stocked kitchen and views from every room. We went into downtown Asheville one afternoon, but really enjoyed the house so much that we mainly stayed there."

  • Comfortable getaway

"Our group of 6 thoroughly enjoyed staying at this property! It is easy to get to and everything was as advertised. It does not take long to get in and out of Asheville and the trip back and forth is easy to navigate. Well equipped kitchen enabled us to cook meals altogether and we had no problems at all. The view out of the common area is beautiful--a refreshing sight for those not accustomed to the beauty of the mountains. I would gladly stay at Glenn's place again. He was highly responsive whenever we had a question and was pleasant to deal with."
