Wonderful relaxing vacation
"This was a perfect house for my sisters and our families. It is furnished beautifully and provides everything you need for a great vacation. We had much to celebrate as our family is growing and I could not think of a better place to enjoy my family. Jean"

"Nothing but good things to say about this property. The house was clean, and had a great screened in back porch with an open deck attached. Very quiet location and great view of the water. Fishing was good off of the pier. Tackle shop was only 5 minutes away and had most necessities you may need. Also had a restaurant close by. Would recommend this if you want to get away and have a quiet getaway/"

"This house was the perfect place for our family fishing trip. The house was very clean, well stocked with everything you would need and then some. The satellite TV was a huge plus and the Wi-Fi got a lot of use sending fish pictures to the folks back home! The huge kitchen table was simply awesome. I can't remember when the last time all 10 of our family members sat down and actually ate together!! The bedrooms were all roomy and created plenty of sleeping options. Bathrooms were all spotless with plenty of towels. As stated in prior reviews, the sun room was extremely hot during the day, but we were outside most of the time so this was not that big of a deal for us. The kids and grandkids loved the beach area and spent hours there. The boat ramp was really convenient and there was ample parking for our cars and two trucks with boat trailers attached. The dock was just as described with fishing area, chairs and plenty of room for the boats. The kids caught fish off the dock every day and the fish cleaning station came in real handy during our stay to clean all of our catfish, the largest one 28lbs. Just a note, that there is no shade out there on the dock so plan to clean fish early in the am, in the evening, or bring an easy up awning to provide some relief from the sun if you go in August as we did. The extra fridge and upright freezer out on the sun porch were huge bonuses to keep our beverages, ice and fish in. To top it all off, the owners, David and Brenda were awesome to deal with. Great communication from booking through the end of our stay. Cant wait to go back next year!!"

"We departed the sugar white sands of North West Florida to spend a few days with family located in Charleston and Sumter. So, right off the bat the location was perfect- right between them. We were quickly contacted by the owners after we booked. They are super accommodating and just good people. They took care of all our questions and concerns. Upon arrival - The owner met us and showed us the home and amenities.
The House - The décor is perfectly done and tells you "relax and enjoy" from the moment you walk in. It had plenty of room for our family and our extended family. It was stocked with all the basics you could need for summertime fun. The home is a bit older and is not in pristine condition. It is however well kept and in good shape. It's just a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the good life.
The Amenities- It has a very well thought out beach sitting area and a perfect dock for fishing, jumping off, or tying a boat to. You'll love the perfect outdoor shower.
Location- There are plenty of stores 15-20 min up the road. Not a big choice on local places to eat dinner if you plan on not cooking. It's in a great little neighborhood with a public boat ramp at the top of the street.
Overall- It's a lake house that has seen years of happiness and We can't wait for our next stay."
