The Winthrop Estate was a home and retreat for some of the most prominent families in America in the Gilded-Age. It is situated on more than forty acres of land with views of Lenox Mountain. Located between Tanglewood and Historic Lenox Village, this 14,000 square-foot mansion features a great lawn over more than six acres, twelve bedrooms, an acoustically designed music room, wood-paneled dining room, light-filled conservatory, mahogany-panneled library, and spacious kitchen. The mansion has air-conditioning and Wifi, six fireplaces, antique furniture, hand-crafted mattresses, and other fine amenities.

The Winthrop Estate is a beautiful guilded age estate tucked away in Lenox, MA right near Tanglewood and the town center. It is a "luxury vacation rental" so the entire house must be rented for the weekend. They have 12 exquisite rooms that you and family can stay in. We were able to hang out with our friends and family throughout the entire weekend, which really brought people together. The lawn is just beautiful, with a view of the Berkshire mountains in the background. Jamie is kind, patient and helpful.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway.
