This is a great house for a couple's get-away or girls' weekend. It is quiet and peaceful and has lots of character. Great deck looks out over fields to the north, dunes to the east, and Corpus Christi Ship Channel and back waters of Mustang Island to the west. No neighbors unless it's a busy holiday weekend. House is on stilts. Living area is upstairs. Breezy sitting area and parking underneath.
Front door opens to the deck. Leave it open in the cool of the morning to welcome your day at the beach. Enjoy the 3rd level deck, accessed by a ladder from the 2nd level deck; good for early morning sunrise yoga or night-time star-gazing.
Address is 603 Parkplace, at the corner of 11th St., one block from Beach Access Rd IA. 10 minute walk to the beach, at end of cul-de-sac, over the boardwalk over some of the highest dunes on the island.
This is not a typical rental as owner lives here part-time so it feels like a cozy place. No plastic paintings screwed to the wall here! Port Aransas is small enough to get around on a bike, has an awesome eatery/coffee bar/ wireless spot and great restaurants, mid$$ to high$$. The beach is natural, accessible by car and by foot and there is great fishing, by charter or by private captain. World-wide attraction spot for birding.
King bed, (firm futon wth tempuredic foam topper), in master bedroom. Firm, queen-size bed in 2nd bedroom. Bed and bath linens provided. Bring towels for the beach and pets. Guests must bring body soaps and hair products, hand soap only is furnished.
This island home may not be suitable for certain age children, (there are stairs and **therapy pool** used by owner on Watsu clients), but owner is negotiable. Pets are OK, only if they are considered part of the family, (not allowed on the furniture or wet in the house or on carpet in Master BR; yard is not fully fenced, child gate at stairs keeps them on the deck).
**Note on pool* The pool is not offered with the rental. It is used by owner for therapy on clients. Use granted w/ permission by owner, or there will be maintenance fees charged.**
Massages and Watsus available from Owner/Therapist, by appointment, 2 days notice. See website address below.

If you are interested to rent this and time is short, please call on the phone...Internet doesn't get checked when I'm busy with work. Also, I can recommend other properties if this one is taken.

Location of home is away from town so is very tranquil. 10 minute walk to the beach, just down to end of cul-de-sac Native vegetation in yard and great view of adjacent fields and the Island's back bay. Local trolley comes by hourly til 6pm for trips to Port A drop-off spots
