We attended my Son's Graduation and this Home was the perfect fit. It is comfortable for 4 people it was equipt with everything stated. The outside patio was very nice to unwind after the days events. I would recommend this home, 10 minutes away from Parris Island.

This is an amazing house, I can not express how much fun we had. Perfect for my nephew's graduation from Parris Island within minutes of the main gate. Quite area, great for adults with or without families. Lots of things to do and great food in the area as well. Highly recommended for all occasions.

Port Royal is a very convenient location to Beaufort and Hunting Island State Park, where we focused our vacation. The town itself is quiet, with a few shops and restaurants. It is its own place with, a beach, boat launch, and fishing pier. It actually felt like it was from another time, with quaint neighborhoods, void of McMansions. The house was clean and tastefully decorated and a good fit for our family with 4 children. Sally had a welcome sign and delighted us with homemade cookies. In addition, she was very accomodating, even adding Wi-Fi per our request (which we used daily to confirm plans). In the end, she promptly returned our security deposit after our stay.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children.

To Sally,Carolina Moon Cottage with it's Red DoorWe could not have imagined what was in storeA cottage so sweet, so quaint, so nice, we had to pinch ourselves, blink our eyes and look at least twice! As our family gathered to see our new Marine Jake,Our excitement was made doublefold beacause of this place. When graduation was over and our tears of joy wiped away,We came back to the Carolina Moon for a while to stayWe talked and hugged, we ate and slept, this was HOME for a bit, we thank you for that. The Dockside was the perfect taste of the coast,we all "seafooded up" and gave a toastTo the Carolina Moon Cottage and Sally tooFor Sharing your home , we wish you glad tidings andMerry Christmas to you!

Dearest SallyIt was indeed an honor to live in your awesome home. From the first time we spoke, to the personal assistance from your husband when we had a brief power outage due to bad weather-you both responded in less than 5 min-to all the ooing and ahing each time we discovered another personal touch you provided for your guests, this was a Fairy Tale/Sory Book week, that will always be treasured. You and your husband have proven, there are indeed angels on earth.

This was so much more than we imagined it would be. A perfect spot to base ourselves as we explored the Lowcountry sights. The house contained everything we needed to make our stay so enjoyable. Thank you so much Sally for all your helpfulness even before we arrived.

This home away from home has been a perfect base for exploring and getting to know the area. Our family appreciates all the little things you remembered to put into this house. So much better and easier than a hotel. The area is beautiful and able to relax here is the icing on the cake.

SallyWOW! We had a wonderful time at your home. It was decorated so beautifully and my wife made me take many, many pictures. Now my "honey-do" list is longer but I am okay with that. It was nice to have the accomodations so close to the base. And you were right, the extra day made for a much more relaxing trip. It gave our new Marine and us time to unwind after Family Day and Graduation. Also a chance to take in the sights. Beaufort and the surrounding areas are just beautiful. We went to the beach, the lighthouse and just wandered but it was so nice to go back to the house to relax and eat a home cooked meal. The attention to detail was second to none. I mean how many people would even think about a grocery store discount card and the Welcome sign was great. Upon arrival everyone was running from room to room, then yelling "come see this room", "come look at this". We have told everyone about our son's graduation but also about the wonderful home in which we stayed. You will forever be a part of our memories.I will go to your website and put in our comments from our stay. We want everyone to know that this Cottage is truly "Home away from Home" Thank you so very much.Kell Stott ( Proud father of PFC Kellous Stott USMC) PS. I would have sent this sooner but after a week out of the office I am trying to get caught up with piles of work.
