This is a great family vacation home, winter or summer. It has a large living room with a piano and a gas wood stove in addition to a new furnace, dining table seats 10-12, large kitchen, large deck with two picnic tables and benches and a gas BBQ. This home is set back off the street, very safe for children. There is a game room with a pool table/ping pong table.
In winter, board the nearby shuttle and you are minutes to Alpine Meadow's Sherwood chair. Squaw Valley, Alpine Meadows and Homewood Mountain Resort are all a short drive away. Granlibakken Ski are is right around the corner and offers a family style resort for beginning skiers, tubers and boarders.
In Summer this cabin is located three short blocks to the lake and private Tahoe Park Homeowners beach. Set on three immaculately maintained acres, the Tahoe Park beach has over 800 feet on the water with two piers, protected swim area, lawns, benches, volleyball court, horseshoe pits, basketball court, playground, lakefront BBQ's and picnic tables which can be reserved by calling the beach office.
The cabin is located close to the main bike trail around the lake and along Truckee River, hiking trails, two markets, Sunnyside Restaurant and Marina and Firesign Cafe. It is 2 miles to downtown Tahoe City for great dining, shopping and more. |
