This perfect location has it all! Ski to within 113 steps from your front or back door, ride the free shuttle around town, enjoy the heated pool, new hot tubs, saunas, visit the concierge for activity information, or cruise the internet on wireless high speed while enjoying the brand new leather furniture, moss rock fireplace, 35" TV and surround sound theater system. I am converting the garage into a GAME ROOM with a 3 in 1 Pool/Air Hockey/Ping Pong table as well as a dart board. This will be ready by the first week in December 2009. I have also purchased a pac n play for guests with young kids.
When I lived in the property for a year, I loved how accessible the condominium is to skiing in the winter. I would laugh as I walked to the Gondola in about 2 minutes, while others in the complex waited for the free shuttle pick them up at their front door. Of course, with small kids, this shuttle to the Gondola is a convenient amenity. Leave your car at home! The private shuttle in winter (as well as the city shuttle year round) will get you anywhere in town, and the whole mountain village is within easy and fun walking distance. There is even a great Southwestern Restaurant called La Montana and a small grocery/liquor & wine store called Market on the Mountain right next door to the location.
At the end of the ski day, or for lunch, you can ski to within 113 steps of the back door. I know, I counted many times! Very convenient and easy!
In the summer, the condominium stays cool, and you have a great area right out back with trees, grass, and a picnic table. I have a Gas and a Charcoal grill, so plan a BBQ. The hiking and mountain biking trails on the lower mountain are easy to access, and serve as a great short-cut to the restaurants & shopping of Ski Time Square and Gondola Square, making it a walk of just a few minutes.
I have strived to maintain the property at a high level, and constantly improve the property. Newest addition: Fall 2009 - Kitchen Bar Lighting just replaced, and a dimmer switch was added. I also have new high end linens for the master bedroom. Leather Living Room furniture set is new as of September 2008. The bathrooms were re-done in May 2008 with new large mirrors, brushed nickel fixtures & lighting. The kitchen has new appliances, the carpet & slate tile was put in September 2007, when I also replaced all bedding, sheets, & towels with higher quality items than the average condo.
PRICING NOTE:
Newly remodeled, and very nice, yet priced below market value. Take a look at Mountain Resorts rates. You'll see that you can reserve this EXACT unit for less than the cost of others in the same location! Mountain Resorts can't & won't guarantee a particular unit, much less the quality of the unit, or the bedding setup. A housekeeping fee will apply for stays of less than 7 nights, but is negotiable on 5 & 6 night stays.
Have friends or family that need a place near yours, but want some privacy? I work with four 4-Bedroom owners and three other 2-Bedroom owners in The Phoenix condos to keep groups close together. One 4-Bedroom is right upstairs from my place, and 2 others are 20 feet away!
