Windancer is on the east end of Destin on an uncrowded, secluded white sand beach. This is a 48 unit, four-story condo that was finished in 1997.
This condo is on the top floor and is on two levels. The main level has a master bedroom (king bed) with attached master bathroom. There is a well equipped kitchen, a counter with bar stools, and a living room/dining room on this level. The balcony is off the living room and nothing interferes with a great view of the Gulf and the Beach. Upstairs is a loft bedroom (queen bed) and a third bedroom with a twin bed and a queen. There is another full bathroom on this upper level. No Smoking and No Pets.
The charcoal grills, picnic area, pool and hot tub are all on the beach side of the condo. You can always see your kids! Although you can walk to the supermarket and outlet mall, you are off the main road and in a very private and gorgeous area. This is a family oriented complex you will enjoy.

Extremely understanding about our oil spill cancellation

Sadly we did not get to stay in this unit this year (June 2010) We had made the reservations months ago and the property manager was very nice and easy to deal with. As news of the oil spill grew I became concerned about taking my two children to Destin for fear of the oil on the beach. When I called to ask if I could get my money refunded (even though it was past the deadline) My money was refunded and they were very friendly and sent me a check in the mail that very same week. My family and I vacationed in Clearwater Florida this summer, but I want to return to Destin in the years to come. I will rebook this unit and I am very appreciative of how understanding they were about my cancellation this year. I wanted to write this because I've heard of so many people telling me of not being able to get their money back and that they were concerned about what to do and I had such a good experience with this situation.
