Exceptional 5 bedroom home located above the lake on 12 acres of wooded privacy. Large covered portico for parking and unloading vehicles. Enter from rear into a spacious living room with chalet style glass windows, vaulted ceilings and a home theater system. A screened porch overlooks the lake and there is a very large deck in the front of the house for barbecues and parties.
Large private master suite with bath and private deck. Downstairs game room has Satellite TV, Ping pong and Air Hockey. Walk out to covered patio and 7 person hot tub overlooking lake and waterfall. Walk down landscaped stairs to beach, with deck landings and seating. The waterfront includes a 20' x 80' deck over the water, a boathouse with refrigerator, telephone, and bio toilet and 250 feet natural lakefront great for swimming. There is a an electric 3000lb boat hoist which can be rented in addition. Also a separate stone fire pit patio is great for evening campfires. In the winter, great skiing is 10 minutes away at Bristol Mountain.

Why the Owner Chose Canandaigua
I have been enjoying living on the finger lakes for the past 25 years. I bought my first vacation home on Cayuga Lake in 1988. Each of the lakes is unique and will appeal to a wide variety of renters. I love boating (motor and sail) and swimming. My children grew up on these lakes and we continue to enjoy the great family reunions we have every year.
The Unique Benefits at this House
Our property is quite private and perfect to enjoy a family getaway but is also large enough to accommodate reunions or small weddings. The waterfront is beautiful and is perfect for boating, swimming, or just relaxing. The firepit is a nice place to enjoy the evenings and there are no mosquitoes! The hot tub is perfect for any time with a view down to the lake.

Awesome property for a couples retreat!

This was our second trip to the Finger Lakes, and we decided that we would enjoy the weekend with friends tasting wine, sampling the local fare and enjoying each other's company. We had been searching for a house to accommodate the four couples comfortably, and by chance we stumbled upon this property. We were very skeptical at first, but trusted the reviews and pictures of the property. I must say that as we entered the property, we were very relieved to find the property extremely clean and cozy with outstanding views of beautiful Lake Canadaigua. The property owners were very hospitable with suggestions of hiking trails, grocery stores and restaurants. The property had everything that you could imagine for a weekend or an extended stay. Our only problem was that we didn't plan a long enough stay. We arrived on Friday and departed on Sunday. We will certainly be back and will plan the extra day! For the record, I am a frequent traveler who can appreciate the value of a clean property and an accommodating host. My job takes me to remote places in the world, and I have been often disappointed during these travels. I can honestly say that we were 100% satisfied with the property, and would recommend the property to anyone looking for a fantastic getaway. We enjoyed the wineries along Lake Keuka and Seneca, and had a fantastic meal at Casa de Pasta in Canadaigua. We wished we would have saved more time to hike the trails at Hi Tor and Watkins Glen. But, there's always next time!

Our party of 7 girls were blown away with these lakefront accomodations, exactly as described on this page... but better! The house is amazing with up to date furniture and a large dining table for a great family dinner. We loved the wall of books available to read and the great sound system throughout the house and on the deck. We were delighted that the owners had thought of everything we might need for the weekend (paper products, wood, all kitchen supplies, water in the water cooler, tips listed on the fridge, you name it!) Would love to come back in the summer to enjoy the lake/kayaking more - however the chilly weather made a perfect excuse for a bonfire! Thank you for allowing us to stay in this house, we would absolutely recommend it to our family and friends!

We had a party of 10 people staying at this spacious & immaculate property and we were never in each others way. It was spectacular!! Better than what the pictures show. We had all of the amenities available, i.e. BBQ, utensils, paper products. We enjoyed the house, deck and the lake. Down by the dock we enjoyed kyacking & row boating and we even rented a boat and spent the day cruising the lake. Spectacular! The owners are wonderful and easy to reach, they provided us with all the instructions we needed. We would definitely rent this property again.

Our group has just enjoyed a fabulous "Big Chill" escape weekend at this wonderful property. The home, furnishings, setting, and views are all spectacular. I agree with a previous commenter that the property is even better than in the photos. It was so well-appointed that all we had to bring was our food and beverages. The owner was great to work with, accommodating, and very prompt with responses. We will rent this property again.

We rented this amazing property for a week last September for our wedding and it couldn't have been more perfect! We didn't want your typical wedding, which is why we chose this property. It was more than we ever could have imagined! The place is absolutely gorgeous, both inside and out, the accommodations are more than you could ask for, the owner is very hospitable and great with communication. You can't get any better than this!!!

Pictures don't do this property justice! The home is beautiful; well appointed with all the conveniences and built in entertainment for all ages. The views are spectacular and the lake is crystal clear - perfect for swimming and boating. Very private getaway and totally relaxing. Don't miss this one.
