It is a true mountain lake with 80 miles of shoreline, 90% of which is National Forest. Unlike almost all other lakes in the south, Lake Santeetlah is privately owned and remains full through the entire year. With a mere 5 steps to the lake, the home is literally on the water. You can't get any closer to your private dock and beach area! Two kayaks are provided for you to explore the beautiful surroundings.
This newly renovated and professionally decorated home has a large, fully equipped gourmet kitchen with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances.. The home has 2 comfortable living rooms. The main living room has a large stone fireplace with a 42" plasma TV above and a large deck just outside. Watch the sunset over the mountains while grilling the days catch! The upstairs living area also has a 42" plasma, game system and a screened porch. The 2 beautiful bedrooms have "heavenly beds" made up with fine linens. There is a queen futon for additional sleeping. Every room has an amazing lake and mountain view!
This fantastic property is located in the much sought after "Thunderbird Community".
This location is quiet, serene and without a doubt on the best part of the lake! If you find it necessary to be in touch with the "real world",the unlimited long distance and wireless internet allow you to work from the dock if you wish!
