Located near Donner Summit, in a sleepy community called Kingvale, just five minutes from Soda Springs on Highway 80. This Non-Smoking cabin has 1800 square feet. It has knotty pine inside with log accents, a beautiful big stone fireplace, and separate dining area. No sheetrock. Modern heating. A large deck faces the river.
Kingvale is a forested community of charming 1930's and '40's cabins and unpaved roads - it's almost like going back in time. Enjoy a magical retreat where you can relax and play in the summer sun or the winter snow. There are only a couple of owners who rent their cabins in Kingvale. This is a unique opportunity to share in the magic of this cherished place.
Drive to the front door in spring/summer/fall. Walk from the parking lot in winter (about 2 blocks to the cabin). 2 cars maximum in winter.

Privacy -- the cabins on either side of ours are rarely used. We often just relax on the back deck by the river and read. But, if we want to get busy enjoying the fabulous activities that the Tahoe area offers, we Relaxing atmosphere of Kingvale community if you don't want to "get busy". access to all the natural beauty and activities of the Tahoe area.
