I stayed here 11/25/11 to 12/2/11. The location is perfect for walking to almost every site. Public transportation is close. The apartment was clean and perfect for a single person or for a couple. I traveled alone and felt very safe. Paola is very helpful and extremely kind and welcoming. Without her help I would have been hopelessly lost. I would highly recommend staying here and I plan to again the next time I’m in Rome. Thank you Paola for a wonderful stay!

Excellent location - walking distance to historical sights, buses and metro. Accurate pictures and information about the apartment and amenities. The owner has helpful on our arrival indicating good restaurants and grocery stores. You do have stairs to climb, but then you climb stairs all over Rome. I would recommend this apartment to family and friends.

This apartment was great for my husband and I! It was within close walking distance of the Colosseum and some great restaurants. In addition, there was a train stop just a couple blocks away. Even though the kitchen was very tiny, there was plenty of dishes, pots/pans, etc for us to cook every evening. In addition, we enjoyed having access to a washer/dryer so that we could do a few loads of laundry since we were traveling Europe for nearly 3 weeks. Paolo was great to work with...she answered any questions we had quickly. The place was clean & well-maintained. We would recommend this place.

My husband and I just spent a week at this apartment and had a great time. We were able to get in, get the tour, and settle in very quickly and begin exploring Rome. While we did not meet Paola in person, she was always an email away, quickly answering any questions we had. That was very helpful!! The apartment was a very comfortable size for the two of us. The apartment was extremely clean and well stocked with kitchen items and linens. It is also a very secure building with a rooftop terrace that is beautiful. The location can't be beat!! You are about 3 blocks from the Coloseum! You stick your head out the window, and look right and there it is!! You are 5 mins or less from the Cavour metro station, and walking distance to so many sites, I can't even list them all! The street is lively until late, so keep that in mind if you are a light sleeper. There was also construction going on in the building, which started very early in the morning, so hopefully they are done now. Also, the washing machine could use a brief note explaining how to use it (in English, in our case). All in all, it was a wonderful place to spend a week, and we felt truly at home!

We stayed in this amazing apartment for three nights in January, 2011. The building was located in a brilliant neighborhood where you can find astonishing ateliers, bars, wine bars, pizzerias, trattorias, bakeries and so on. IT is also a peaceful and a safe environment which is close to every vital historical sight in Ancient Rome. It is not only the breath-taking neighborhood that leaves you happy and content, but also the beautiful apartment which is very comfy. What is more, our land lady was . She is this beautiful, sophisticated, warm, and helpful person whose conversations are fun and informative. She recommended many places to go and her recommendations always worked. All in all, my husband, my friend and I fell in love with this place and if we return Rome one day, we know where we'll be staying! Thank you, Paula!

My wife and I travel to Europe and Italy (specifically) often and rent short term, so we can speak from experience. This apartment is a gem. It's small, as all apartments usually are in an ancient city center like Rome's. It fits two to four comfortably. It was meticulously cleaned before we arrived. (I could have eaten off the floor had I wanted.) The couch folds out to a comfortable bed, the one bathroom in accessible though the bedroom. There's TV, if that's your thing and internet access. You have a small stovetop for light cooking and you can ask for access to the building's rooftop for glorious a dinner or for sipping wine, al fresco. A plus is the washer and a shared area for drying clothes. The owner is exquisite. She is truly interested in the comfort of her tenants and is so very caring. She lives in the building and can be counted on for just about anything. The location is awesome. You're halfway between the president's residence and the Coliseum! The subway, awesome restaurants, ample supermarket and specialty-food shopping is within 5 minutes on foot. Most bus lines pass within stops located five minutes on foot, too. The neighbor is one of the few truly Roman neighborhoods left. The place can be a bit noisy (from the streets) especially with the windows are open. At night, we used our handy earplugs (a must for light sleepers in a country with motor scooters everywhere) and we slept like babies. Whether you stay for a night or for several months like we did, this apartment is one of the best finds in the Eternal City. I can't say enough about it.

We stayed in this apartment for 3 nights in October. It was an ending to a 3 week trip in Italy. The apartment was perfect for us. My husband was thrilled at the location, right down the street from the Collseum. Everything you needed was close by. Even a pizzaria right next door. It was a very 'local' neighborhood, which we enjoyed. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. Yes, it was noisy from the street noise. But with ear plugs at night (I never go anywhere without them!) it was no problem. Paola was very helpful and accomadating. Rome is a magical place and I feel this apartment added to the magic.

We loved our stay at this well-located apartment, just down the street from the Coliseum. It was very clean and comfortable, and the kitchenette was well-stocked with dishes and cookware. The neighborhood had all of the amenities: coffee, restaurants, pizza, bars, gelato, ATM, and a small piazza with a fountain where a friendly crowd gathers every night. A Metro stop is just a couple of blocks away, and the handy bus 117 goes by. Not to mention access to the romantic rooftop patio, with a great view of the interesting neighborhood. The street is noisy until after midnight, so the apartment may not be a good choice for light sleepers who like to go to bed early. But we found the lively street to be part of the Roman ambiance! We didn't use the hide-a-bed in the living room, but it looked to be quite suitable for 1-2 young children or a teen. Paola was friendly and helpful, directing us to restaurants, calling a cab for the airport, etc. We can't wait to go back.
