Owner's Profile
Owner Description
I have owned my condos (VRBO listing #176556 and #183880) for many years. Two and a half years ago, I decided to rent my condos through VRBO. It has been a joy communicating with guests from all over the world. I take care of my own places, and I take pride in the appearance and cleanliness of the condos, as well as the comfort of my guests. It is very rewarding when my guests come back for repeat visits. Some have even purchased property in the area. ( I actually do have a real estate license!)
Why the Owner Chose Sullivan's Island
We bought a vacation rental at Sullivans Island because of its beautiful scenery, family friendly atmosphere, and closeness to historic downtown Charleston. After spending many years vacationing here, we decided that this was home.
The Unique Benefits of this Condo
Enjoy a daily walk on the beach at one of the Southeast's most beautiful islands. Visit the historic sites that Sullivans Island has to offer including Fort Moultrie, Sullivans Island Lighthouse, the fabulous view of the Charleston Harbor, and Fort Sumter. Dine at one of the many popular restaurants just within a one block walking distance of the condo. If you aren't familiar with the area, the owner is happy to recommend popular attractions, restaurants, golf courses, sunset cruises, etc. If you've ever read any of Dorothea Benton Frank's books, then you will appreciate the relaxed, friendly lifestyle while staying at quaint Sullivans Island. Shopping is also fun in the area with the downtown Market, many antique shops, Mt. Pleasant Towne Center, and a nice variety of consignment shops.

My husband and I had a wonderful time visiting Sullivan's Island and staying in your condo. Everything was perfect and you supplied us with everything we needed. Love your beachy decorations. We have stayed here several times and enjoy it more each time. Wish we could move to the area. If we do, we will call you to help us find a place since you are a realtor, too. How convenient for us!! Thanks for opening up your condo to renters so others can enjoy the wonderful Charleston area at an affordable price. We can't wait to come back.

My fiance and I stayed for 4 nights here. The location was awesome. Every morning we went on a run on the beach, which is only 2 block away and you can jog all the way to Fort Moultrie. Dolphins actually swam with us! Perfect size for two people and extremely close to restaurants. Definitely will stay here again.

My mother just completed a one-month rental of this unit. The place was very clean, furnished nicely, and had everything needed. It's just a short few blocks to the beach and Sullivan's Island is a beautiful place to be. The owner checked in to make sure all was going well - a nice personal touch.

We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived at this condo to see how lovely it is decorated and so clean. It really did look like the pictures in the listing. We settled right in and felt very comfortable. You cannot beat the location--walk to the beach (the evening beach strolls are fantastic), walk to the restaurants, and nice little park across the street. There is even a Body Spa across from Poe's and we enjoyed our facial and reflexology there. The condo is so close to Isle of Palms and Charleston too, short ride. Carol (owner) is a lovely person and that's why she keeps such an attractive place for guests. We recommend it highly. Poe's is great and we also enjoyed Station 22 sat at the bar upstairs, and Cafe Medley has Wed. night wine tasting, cute place.

We just returned from a one-week stay at your condo on Sullivan's Island and we had a wonderful time. Your condo was very comfortable and cozy and had everything that we needed. The newly decorated condo was very "beachy" and made us feel like we were definitely on vacation. The cleanliness impressed us and all the little touches that you included were appreciated. There is lots of closet space to stash suitcases and beach supplies. Sullivan's Island is a great place to visit if you are looking for a hometown atmosphere and quiet walks on the beach. We will be back!!! Loved it!!!
