  This was a great place for a weekend trip. Very family friendly. We will definitely come back. It is right on the beach and has a nice adult pool and children's pool (which was a HIT with 2 small kids).

  Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers.

  Owner response: We are so pleased with the only "baby pool" in the area as well. It really does work out great for families with your children. Really gives Mom and Dad a break so they can relax as well.

  This is a great place. It's not to big nor to small. Beach is nice and wide. The condo was very clean and very well taken care of. It was a great location between St. Pete and Clearwater. We just really loved it and will go back in a heartbeat. The owner was so nice and very helpful. Thx again for a wonderful vacation.....

  Property and beach very nice, staff pleasant and accommodating. Unfortunately we could not utilize all the facilities due to the "family" atmosphere. Twice we attempted to have a nice rest by the pool only to be totally annoyed by abundant kids in the pool, playing, yelling, screaming and the parents sitting by doing nothing. Could not even get into pool to cool off. Don't know why there is a kiddy pool as no one was using it. So basically we used the unit to sleep and spent our days elsewhere to avoid the family crowds. Rather expensive for what we were able to use it for! Condo unit was very clean and comfortable for the two of us. We were supposed to be sharing it with another couple and glad we did not as it was definitely too small for 4 people 24/7.Definitely not a couple's retreat, unless there is a time when it is not so busy with families.

  Owner response: I am glad that you liked the property and found the staff accommodating. Sunset Vistas caters to a variety of guests from "snowbirds" to large family and corporate gatherings. Being that all of the condos are 2 and 3 bedroom, families and couples traveling together find this ideal. I make it a point to talk to my guests to find out what sort of expectations they have and I am so sorry that your relaxation was interrupted. Had I realized that you were looking for a quite and laid back resort I would have recommended my other condo. I always want my guests to have a great time and return again.

  what a great find! stayed 5 nights and loved everything about the resort. everyone was very helpful and friendly. the condo was roomy and clean with everything we could have needed. will definitely book here again when we find ourselves on Treasure Island.

  The property was everything Kathy described it to be, she couldn't have been more helpful. The photos were very accurate that I had previously viewed, a beautiful area, beach etc... The property was very clean & well maintained. Kathy made the transaction very easy & was extremely helpful, she even called us while we were there & gave us further shopping tips to an amazing grocery store, what a fun adventure! I absolutley recommend this property & Kathy the owner as a very helpful & trustworthy person to rent from. We will definitely go back to this property again in the future. Our vacation was a much need relaxation vacation, so no activities to recommend, other than the amazing adventure putt putt course, which was fun & numerous places to eat. IF you like ice cream you have to try the Candy Kitchen just for the experience alone. Thank you Kathy, it was a pleasure!

  Just returned from a wonderful stay at Sunset Vistas! This was our third trip to Sunset Vistas and this has been our favourite condo so far...it is very clean and well maintained. Kathy was very helpful with booking our accommodations and giving us a list of places to go in the area...the condo has a great view of the beach and pool from the balcony. There was a washing machine and dryer we also brought laundry detergent but it could also be purchased at the cafe on the second floor. We also had a toddler with us and it is very nice that there is a kiddy pool as well because there is a lot of families with small children...we would recommend this condo to our family and friends...John's Pass is a great place to visit while on your stay... we are already planning to return to Kathy's condo in the fall this year :)

  The owner was very helpful and shared a lot of activities and attractions in the area. We were traveling with several other families and utilized her list of restaurant recommendations every single day. We did not have a bad meal the entire week. The location allowed for a lot of fun excursions for the teenagers in the group as well as the ability to just relax at the beach.

  What a wonderful place to stay! We can not say enough about how amazing Kathy was to help from the beginning of our booking all the way through our stay. She sent us local information of where to go, to eat, shop and play. There is nothing more you could want from a property. Location, amenities, staff it was all there. Would recommend to everyone.

  We felt the air quality in the condo was poor. The hand towel rack was repeatedly falling off the wall. The water in the shower easily runs out onto the bathroom floor which was a problem. The tiki bar was closed more the it was open.

  Recommended for: Age 55+.

  Owner response: I am so sorry that you experienced the problems that you did. Though it was not my condo, I will do my best to try and address your concerns. Most importantly, we encourage guests to contact the front desk immediately if an issue arises. Fortunately, it does not happen often but when it does the staff at Sunset Vistas do a great job of correcting any problems. Given the opportunity I am confident that your concerns would have been rectified. I recently had the same issue with the shower curtain only to figure out that the guest who was in the condo before me was taller and raised the shower bar. It is very easy to move up and down. I am unsure as to what the issue was with the air quality. If you would like to contact me and further explain I would really appreciate that. Meanwhile I will let the resort know that the towel rack is unstable and to lower the shower curtain rod. I thank you for your input and know that I will make sure the items are addressed in the condo you rented.

  Clean well keep property. Just your average beach not a paradise. The café is a plus and reasonable pricing. Nice size pool however the kid's pool could be done away with as the kid's invaded the large pool. The only thing that would be nice to add would be some gas BBQ grill's and a good internet service. If you need to be in touch with the Wireless World the internet was really bad almost non-exiting and the internet service provided at the business room on-site was worst. Would of like to seen the café and bar have a little longer operating hours into the evening. Listing and photo's where accurately reflective of what we experienced. Lot's of nearby activities and grocery store within 1 mile and convenience store across the street plus a ice Cream shop. Our room was half way back and I would not want to go much future back as I believe you would loose the feel for the beach and gain the city street noise. I feel I got my money's worth and would recommend this to anyone else. As for our return , gas grills, café / bar hours and internet changes need made and we'll be back in a heart beat.
