Christopher and Colleen reside in Incline Village, Nevada. Colleen is a financial planner and Christopher is a network architect specializing in network security for world-wide enterprises. The land for the home was purchased in 2004 with building completion in 2006. Rentals commenced in January of 2007.

My twelve year old son had never travelled internationally, so I decided to take him to Villa Augustina for his 7th Grade Spring Break. It was the best seven days I ever spent with my son. He learned so much, including how to navigate customs and immigrations. But most of all, this beautiful home provided a safe, affordable vacation that allowed me to expose him to nature, a new language, different customs, the simplicity of beach life, and extravagance all in one trip. We dined elegantly at Mar y Sol one night, and ate on the beach watching critters the next. We went to the Beach Club to enjoy the spa, then walked through town looking at souvenirs. Then, we returned to the Villa to work on a poetry project using high-speed internet. We felt like we got three vacations in one! It was a trip that provided memories for life. It will be a tough act to follow if I ever want to take him any where else, so we might just have to return to Villa Augustina every Spring Break! Thank you for the best vacation ever!

I recently went there with my girlfriend and another couple. We are all in our late 20's and were looking for a relaxing vacation, but with lots things to do that didnt involve all partying. It was the first time we stayed at a villa and we couldnt have been more pleased. The house is beautiful, the open design allows for great breezes at night so you dont need to sleep with the air conditioning if you dont want to. The house was spotless, and there was a cleaning woman who came two times during the week and there was a gardener there who maintained the grounds and cleaned the pool. The pool is great for just relaxing around the house and the access to beach club offers another great pool in addition to access to the beautiful beaches of Costa Rica. The employees at the rental office are extremely helpful in regards to booking everything from tours to taxi's. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone.

The house is great! We had 2 families and had more than enough room. The kids loved the pool and beutiful views of the golf course. The house was clean and well maintained. It more than met our expectations. The staff at reserva conchal are outstanding and went beyond the call of duty. The shuttle came to take us to the beach club which is great! Love the beach, restaurant, work-out area. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this property.

I just came back from my trip to Costa Rica, and I miss it dearly already. My husband and I just got married there at the end of January, and we rented this beautiful home (Villa Augustina) for our bridemaids and us. It was incredible: completely brand new with modern, upscale furniture, remote controlled A/C wall units in each of the 4 bedrooms, a brand new bathroom for each bedroom plus a 1/2 for the living room, and a perfect, gorgeous infinity pool. If I were to design my own house, this is what it would look like. We are already thinking about planning our next family reunion here! The resort provides shuttle service to the excellent Reserva Conchal Beach Club, which is about 10 minutes away and right by Playa Conchal. The food there is really, really good; the head chef used to work at Daniel in NYC, so the food is delicious, beautifully presented, and actually quite reasonable in price considering its complexity and European flair. I'm dying to go back...

We had never been to Costa Rica before and were immediately impressed by this beautiful villa in the very secure and quiet Reserva Conchal Resort. From the golf course views, comfortable bedrooms, open and inviting back portion of the villa with its welcoming pool, we had a wonderful and relaxing vacation for our entire stay! The spa, the zip wire trip, the Beach Club and golfing experience added to the memorable experience! I highly recommend this home and its owner's apparent attention to detail with everything you'll need! A trip you'll never forget!! Looking forward to another visit to Villa Augustina next December! For years, my husband and I have stayed in different places such as motels, condos, bed and breakfasts and rental houses. But, after staying at Villa Augustina, we are done looking! We were comfortable with the security of the gated villas but could literally walk to the local market for our groceries. It's a spectacular place that we will be visiting again with good friends. There were hundreds of activities, but I sat by my own private pool and watched the golfers go by. We went home relaxed, refreshed, and rested. This vacation house offers everything!!!!!!!!!!!! The property and entire area is really nice. The pool and layout of the 4 bedrooms (king beds) is fantastic. We had a couple bbq's by the pool (bought the meats just a few km away at local markets). Since the house is new it has some quirks but they are on top of it and are in the process of getting things fixed, like some of the sliding doors. The little town of Brasilito is a really good place to get some seafood and catch sunsets. Playa Conchal is one of the absolute best beaches in CR. One side of conchal is all seashells instead of sand, and the other side is soft white sand. Great sunset views for sure. Don't come down during Semana Santa unless you want to see it packed. Otherwise it's pretty secluded. Up the coast there are more great secluded beaches if you have a 4x4 to reach them (we stumbled across some congo monkeys deep in the forest going to Playa Zapotal past Playa Pan de Azucar). That's for adventure seekers only. Tamarindo and Flamingo are really close by as well and have some good nightlife on the weekends. It's about a 4 hour drive from San Jose and there are plenty of places to stop along the way if you're coming from there. There are some great sights to see up north in the Guanacaste region but you'll need more than 4 or 5 days to see a good amount of them and still get beach time in, and defintely rent yourselves an SUV with 4x4. Plan for a full week or more at least. It's worth it. and we didn't even try the golf course, which you can see from the pool. It was great to get up early in the morning, get some pool time in, get some yoga or exercise as some of us did, and then head over to Brasilito for some Gallo Pinto for breakfast. Fruits are in abundance everywhere in CR and they cannot be any tastier. Also try the Corvina (Seabass) as it is really fresh and good, and huge, probably good for two people. There was a path that led to Brasilito from the back end of the golf course but it's fenced in, probably for security. There may be another path but we didn't explore too much. Still, you don't really need a car here, since the resort has everything to offer. Reserva Conchal and Paridisius are right there and you can have them pick you up and they'll take you anywhere on the property. If you want to get outside of the resort, then definitely get a 4x4 (but remember to add $15-20/day mandatory insurance for the car which they always add). In all, it was a fantastic vacation for our group of 8.
