A popular Austin Vacation Home in a great location for enjoying both Downtown and other great Austin destinations.
This 3,200 square foot home features multiple fun gathering spaces including two living areas and three dining areas. Guests love the spacious family room and kitchen, the five separate bedrooms, the deck for coffee in the mornings, and grilling in the evening. Other favorite features include the full-house WIFI and DVR service, the neighborhood park with hiking/running trails in greenbelt, the fire pit for evening chats in cool months, and the pool in spring and summer months.
After a day or night on the Town, come home to cozy sleeping accommodations that include two king beds and three queen beds all in separate bedrooms. There is a sleeper sofa in the family room, and twin airbeds are available upon request.
The kitchen is fully equipped, whether serving light appetizers before a night out or a full meal for dining in. Appliances include three ovens, range, refrigerator, dishwasher, disposal, coffee maker, pancake griddle. There is a walk-in pantry for food storage, and butler's pantry for serving meals.
In-house amenities include two LCD Flat Screens, WIFI, DVD Player and sound system. The 152 channel cable service includes DVR service so you can record shows while you are away for viewing later. WIFI service allows you to connect wirelessly anywhere in the house. There are currently three televisions in the house with plans to add additional.
Other nice features of the house include a gas grill on the deck, garage parking, and washer and dryer for your use.
A Vacation Right In The Neighborhood: The carefully furnished and spacious home is located in one of the best communities in Austin. Neighborhood amenities include a swimming pool, tennis and basketball courts. Enjoy the network of running and hiking trails in the greenbelt or walk the tree-lined sidewalks in this cozy neighborhood. The neighborhood park is a short walk from the house and features trailheads, a soccer field, a volleyball sand court, a great playscape and childrens' sports court. The pool is open April through mid to late October. We provide pool towels and pool toys.
Enjoy Austin and The Surrounding Hill Country: Day activities within 15 to 20 minutes of this Austin Vacation House include kayaking Lady Bird Lake, festivals at Zilker Park, swimming in Barton Springs Pool, touring the Bob Bullock History Museum, the State Capitol, the Blanton Museum or LBJ Library, world class performance at the Long Center. The house is central to Austin's best shopping - 'The Domain', 'Barton Creek Mall', 'Hill Country Galleria', and best golf. We are less than ten minutes from Concordia University.
Austin Fun At Your Doorstep: Popular destinations within five to fifteen minutes of the house include: The Oasis Restaurant and Starlite Terrace featuring Live Music for dancing on picturesque patios overlooking Lake Travis. Want to get out on the water? Ask us for recommendations for outfitters renting party boats, ski and sail boats.
Try one or more of the fabulous restaurants close to the house. Choices include steaks at the nearby Steiner Ranch Steakhouse featuring hill country and lake views and live music on weekends. For TexMex we recommend the nearby Flores Mexican, Z Tejas or Maudie's Cantina. For Texas Barbque- Rudy's, or The County Line are all nearby.
For movies, head to the new Moviehouse and Eatery located five minutes from the house for a dine in theatre experience. There are three outdoor malls in the area, complete with sidewalk cafes and fountains -- 'The Arboretum', 'The Domain' and the new 'Hill Country Galleria'.
The house is a great jumping off point for touring hill country vineyards, and destinations including Fredericksburg, Luchenbach, and the River Walk in San Antonio.

Our stay was FANTASTIC!!! Thank you again so much - my family felt so comfortable and we enjoyed being together instead of strewn about in various hotel rooms! We spoke about renting it in the future when everyone comes to Austin again! The house was beautiful and had more than we needed. We really, really enjoyed our stay!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.
