You really are right next to the Duomo in this apartment. The windows and balcony look out over an interior courtyard and retail clothing store, rather than the Duomo. I did hear a lot of music coming from the clothing store, which was a bit loud at times; but you don't hear any street noise - so it's a trade-off from that perspective. I really did love the apartment and location, which is central to everything. And of course Florence is just beautiful!
Recommended for:Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway.

Excellent location next to Duomo. 10 minute walk from train station. Wonderful "guidebook" provided and helpful pointers from Lorenzo to make the most of your trip. I highly recommend this apartment for 1-2 people.
