Why the Owner Chose Estes Park
Kirk was raised in Grand Lake and Winter Park, Colorado, just over the continental divide. Shelley was raised in Dallas and visited Estes Park each summer with her family. We love the mountains and Estes is a beautiful place to live and to visit. We particularly enjoy the hiking trails and the beauty of the town itself. We know our guests will have an unforgetable time in majestic Estes Park.
The Unique Benefits at this House on Big Thompson River
Our home is directly on a bend of the Big Thompson river, so we have river music and river views in all but one room of the home. The upstairs is a wide open space with light, big views and the river, so we love sitting there reading, talking, watching movies and cooking in the completely open kitchen. It is our favorite home ever, and we've moved around a bit! Right across the river is an open space and small pond, so we have elk, deer, goose and duck visitors daily. And with the river so close, we can fish without leaving our property.
