This is our rebirth! Once known as “The Blue Lagoon” in Crystal Beach, TX. Hurricane Ike has caused us to relocate on the glorious Guadalupe river. Walking distance to the Schlitterbahn, our beautiful condo is 3 bedroom and 2 bath. Gorgeous interior and a beautiful view of the river! Enough room to sleep 14 comfortably. The Schlitterbahn is close to your front door and the 2 heated pools the 4 hot-tubs & the river at your backdoor. You and your family will have a grand time sitting at one of the picnic tables, grilling amongst the majestic trees or just relaxing on the deck, watching the tubers float by!!! One of a kind park like setting that will be simply unforgettable! In front of your condo is the tube drop in/out. Makes it nice and convenient!

Our ground floor unit has an extra large master bedroom with a king bed and a single daybed trundle. The second bedroom has a queen bed, the third bedroom has 4 bunk beds. Also, the sleeper sofa in the living area makes into a queen bed and there is a loveseat single sleeper. All of the bedrooms have TVs and DVD players.

New Braunfels, TX was founded as a German town with a knack for hospitality. There are activities that go on year round. In the summer you will find tubers in both the Comal and Guadalupe rivers as well as at Schlitterbahn Water Park which has been named the #1 water park in the United States. Just 3 miles from the condo, you will find Gruene, TX home of Texas' oldest dance hall known for where country stars like George Straight got his start. This dance hall is still open and thriving complete with its original wooden dance floor. Gruene is also know for its shopping, winery, and restaurants. There is always something going on in Gruene year round. November is the month that is all about sausage in New Braunfels. Wurstfest is a long standing tradition in New Braunfels.

It is a great location where you can be a short drive from many different attractions in Texas. Up the road you will find Canyon Lake for boating and fishing. San Antonio houses the Alamo, Sea World and Fiesta Texas. In Austin, our state's capital, lakes, shopping, history, museums and night life awaits you. For you tennis lovers, check out the John Newcombe's Tennis Ranch right here in New Braunfels!!!

  • My Caddette girls, ages 10 -12 had a most fabulous time. It was our end of year party. The drive from Houston did not take a long time and when we got there we thought we were in a 5 star hotel. The condo was gorgeous. With state of the art TV/DVD..ect. It was prefect for our popcorn and movie night. The patio was great. We could see all the kids down by the pool. If it was up to them, they would have slept in the pool. They all piled into the room with the bunk beds… That left plenty of room for us adults. The place was nice and clean and everything worked without any problems. I recommend this 3bedroom spacious condo to any large group or just for a small quick getaway. The Jacuzzi was nice and relaxing as well. Of course you could of walked to Schlitterbahn… but we drove. I can’t wait to go back and see the rest of the town… 3 days was just not enough time. I hope you all enjoy.

  • First time staying at this property. Place is beatiful.. All the amenities of home and plenty of room for 13 peeople though we had 11. Walking distance to Schlitterban.. Awesome patio view. Would absolutely come back. ps. not on river but you will be able to enjoy the 2 pools and hot tubs!!

  • Dear Fonda, Thanks you for having us at the Redneck River Ranch, we had a great time! Loved the large patio that accommodated us all, A/C worked great, excellent modern TV and Stereo system, beautiful view from patio of large trees and open lawn where the old folks could relax while young ones played frisbee and football. Enjoyed swimming at both pools and meeting friendly people. We also really liked that we were in walking distance to the Cypress Bend Park that had a pebble beach to the river and a nice play area/sets for the kids with covered pavilion. We enjoyed visiting nearby Gruene and doing a walking tour there, very quaint and cute. Had a delicious dinner at the Gristmill Restaurant. Very relaxing stay. By the way, beds were super comfy too! We will definitely visit again, especially looking forward to when the kids are older and will be able to tube down the river!
