GUEST COMMENTS:
“Thank you so much for sharing your home with us. From the bald eagle who greeted us atop a tree next to the house when we arrived, to the phosphorescence in the water the night before we left...we had a wonderful time. We've enjoyed shrimp from Squirrel Cove, spring salmon from the ocean, and clams from the beach. This is the life!”
~ Sincerely Dave, Michele, Sophia & Jack
“The morning sun is dead ahead and eye level as I write this. Just trying to soak in the last few moments of this wonderful setting before we go back to that other world. We've had a wonderful time...enjoyed your house very much -- it is perfect for the location. Book us now -- same time, next year.” ~ Katie, Gerry & Gabriel
“Thank you so much for a perfect week in your beautiful house. We especially enjoyed the fantastic ocean and mountain views, the relaxing atmosphere, the opportunity to watch dolphins play in their natural habitat, the peace, and the fishing trips. Catching a big salmon in the first hour of fishing here, was for Christopher, definitely the most memorable part of this vacation...may many more guests appreciate this little paradise!”
~ Joerg, Gabriele, Christopher & Alexandra, Coquitlam BC
“You have a truly beautiful home! We felt at peace the moment we walked in. It is a comfortable, aesthetically wonderful environment. We enjoyed the lake, an unexpected treasure! The views of course are so memorable, and the ever-changing weather. Thank you for sharing your wonderful home.” ~ Barb & Greg & Family
“I want to let you know, you continue to exceed my expectations. I got the deposit refund last week, more quickly than you said to expect it. Thanks. But I must say what really exceeded all of our expectations was your property on Cortes. The house is in great shape, the property beautiful, the views stunning, the garden unexpected & delightful, and Cortes itself was great. We all agree that we want to return.” ~ Carl from Atlanta Georgia USA
“Wow !! What a week! Hiking at Kw'as and Hathayim Parks -- canoeing at Manson's Lagoon -- beaching at Smelt Bay -- sleeping in -- meditating on the sundeck with a hummingbird for company --seeing deer, seals, otters, herons, woodpeckers, dolphins, eagles, ravens -- reading the morning away, while the boys played on the beach -- full moon through the bedroom window at 3 AM -- weather coming across Lewis Channel -- snorkelling at Manson's Lagoon. You know? I think we may be back.” ~ Stephen, Bronwen, Gareth (8) & Kai (5), Vancouver BC
“You have a beautiful & peaceful retreat here, unplugged from the rest of the world. We only made one trip to the library to use the internet. Martin's & Shannon's favorite part of our stay was catching that 26-lb Chinook Salmon on our fishing trip with Ed Jordon as our guide. Greg's favorite part was grilling that salmon and eating it every night out on the deck (sometimes even for lunch and breakfast) and sipping coffee on the deck with me while the teenagers slept in. My favorite and unexpected delights were the fresh oyster po-boys provided by Marine & Shannon's afternoon jaunts on the beach. A New Orleans girl's heaven! Overall, we just enjoyed the slow passage of time. Time to read a book from cover to cover, time to play Password & Trivial Pursuit & Texas Hold'Em & Badminton, time to feed the crabs and throw rocks into the sea, time to really talk to each other, and time to just be quiet! Thanks for the experience.”
~ Greg, Mavis, Martin (14), Shannon (13) from Louisiana USA

We've changed since our arrival at Cedar Moon. Immediately we were enveloped in the healing powers of being fully present. The beauty and essence of this space overwhelmed us. Gradually we've both become realigned and certainly more centered. The air, the sun, the moon, the abundance of life took us in - welcomed us, sang with us, played with us. In the mirror we see evidence of transformation. The stress lines and dark shadows have receeded. Life has brought us full circle again. Thank you for sharing this spiritual place. We are not sad to leave, but grateful for taking what was so generously given to fill us up.

As many before us have said, thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us. This area is so peaceful and amazingly beautiful. We feel privileged to have the opportunty to experience this...From the moment I stepped out of the car upon our arrival, I could feel the loving hands that have created this marvelous home. You have put in thousands of hours and you are sharing that with us. I humbly say thank you.

We came back! Need we say more!! It's nice to revisit a place, especially a spot from which we've carried such beautiful memories throughout the past year...The house is as beautiful & comfy as before. Nice to sit by a fire in the woodstove. We enjoyed the peace & quiet, the hikes, the fish & chips at the Cove Restaurant, finding chanterelle mushrooms again, going clamming. Meeting you both finally was great, settles the mystery of who these wonderful people might be, who lovingly decorate a house & carefully nurture visitors from afar....

We all has a fabulous week. The ever changing view of the sea and mountains hypnotised us each day. Caught a feast of fish from the canoe - Rockfish & Salmon. We saw a huge Sea Lion slowly swim by, a sea otter, and porpoise too. The house was perfect, one of the best we have ever rented. Hope to come back again soon!

After leaving Tofino the morning of December 28th, we thought for sure there could not be a lovlier spot...we were happily mistaken. Nothing could be more breathtaking than walking up the stairs into your living room on a clear day. "Oh my God," we screamed with joy, then we went to the bedroom and did a repeat, then the deck, etc! You have created such a wonderful & welcoming home, with incredible attention to detail. Great nooks & crannies to think & reflect from, all of which take great advantage of the beautiful surroundings. All you have created speaks volumes about who you are as human beings and we are honored and thankful that you are willing to share it with other. Thanks so much.

This is the Tremblay's 11th year coming to Cortes, and we never tire of it! We had a wonderful week, weather was great, beachcombing, clam & oyster bake, canoeing, swimming in Hague Lake, the Friday Market. Your house was inspiring as we spent many hours on the deck, reading, laughing, and just being mesmerized by the view. I truly loved the garden - it was beautiful! We look forward to our next trip and hopefully we can stay here again.
