Our vacation home is a 3 bedroom, 2 bath single family home in the gated, golf community of Foxfire. There is a large living - dining room with comfortable seating for 6, and a fully equipped eat-in kitchen with all appliances, and Internet connection. The master bedroom offers a king-size bed and master bath with shower and separate tub. There are 2 additional bedrooms which share the 2nd bath. Bedroom #2 has a king-size bed which can be converted to 2 singles. Bedroom #3 has 2 single beds. There are lanais on the front and back of the house, allowing for great ventilation. The back lanai has a dining table and chairs and 2 additional chairs and lights for reading. The community has a 27 hole golf course, tennis courts, swimming pools and clubhouse. There are TV's in the living room, Master and Bedroom #2 and kitchen.
Foxfire is a 10 minute drive to downtown Naples with restaurants, shopping and beautiful beaches. There are 30 golf courses in the Naples area. The Naples harbor offers charter fishing boats of various sizes. Less than an hour drive gets you to Marco Island, Sanibel and Captiva, and the Everglades.

Why the Owner Chose Foxfire
We thought about buying a second home for about 3 years, and considered and visited North and South Carolina, Georgia and Florida. We finally decided that we wanted a location where we could spend the 6 winter months, and come back to Baltimore for the other 6 months. We also wanted a location where we would have the weather to play golf every day of the winter, which means south of Orlando, Florida. We visited Naples 3 times before deciding to buy there. The town of Naples is a fantastic place to visit. The beach is just beautiful, and there are so many wonderful restaurants and shops. We chose Foxfire specifically because of the challenging golf course, the fact that there are 27 holes, and the proximity to downtown Naples - only 10 minutes.
The Unique Benefits at this House
Foxfire is a gated golf community located close to downtown Naples. Monthly renters have the option of having our golf membership transferred to them, along with reduced price golf, pool and clubhouse privileges. The clubhouse has a restaurant, bar/grill room, work-out facility, and library.
Owner's Map of Foxfire
We are Mark and Jeanne - both 57 - and live in Baltimore, Maryland. Jeanne is a CPA working in public accounting, and Mark has been in the retail gasoline and convenience store business for 35 years. We love to travel. We have the flexibility to take 12 weeks vacation a year, and have actually exchanged the Naples house for houses in Ireland, Canada and France, and hope to continue exchanging for 3 or 4 weeks every year. We have 2 sons, a daughter and a son-in-law, all in their 20's. Since Jeanne still works long tax season hours, the Naples house is available for rental during the Jan 15-Apr 15 period when the Florida weather is at its best. We are all avid golfers, and love the proximity of so many wonderful golf courses, in addition to Foxfire's 27 holes. Mark and the boys also love to fish, and there are all types of fishing available.
