We (5 women) had an absolutely wonderful week at the Bakerview Beach House! The description and the photos were quite accurate, except that everything was even nicer than described. The view of the Sound and Mt. Baker is stunning & we enjoyed a lot of time on the covered deck. The property was very clean and well-maintained. The owner was extremely helpful, answered all of our questions promptly & while we were there, she appeared within 30 minutes to replace a light bulb. Talk about service! Besides, the owner is a lovely & charming lady who goes out of her way to make your stay as nice as possible! Coupeville is very close by with easy access. The grocery store had everything we needed, and we enjoyed several lovely restaurants in town. We also loved walking on the beach on the other side of the island, about 10-15 minutes drive from the house, where we had beautiful views of the Olympic Mountains. We would recommend this property to anyone. It would make a lovely romantic retreat and a delightful place for family fun. We are planning on returning next year. You won't be disappointed in the Bakerview House!

We just came back from a week's stay at this house. It was amazing! A beautifully appointed house with a fanatastic view! Whidbey Island is a wonderful place to vacation. Patte has this house set up with everything you need - a well-stocked kitchen, very comfy beds, kayaks, seps leading down to a very private beach - you name it, it is here. We were a family of 5 (2 kids, 1 grandmother) and we all had a great time. If we ever come back to the area, this will be where we stay!

We stayed Presidents day weekend at the Bakerview Beach house. What a great weekend. The house is so quiet and peaceful, with amazing views of the sound. Comfy beds made for a great nights sleep, and the modern kitchen made cooking and meals easy. Patte is very friendly and great to deal with. I loved that it was also no big deal to bring my dog, which can often be a hinderance when booking a vacation. I would love to go back in the summer to take advantage of the wonderful waterfront deck. Recommended!

We stayed here to for a quick get-away weekend and loved every minute of it. The view was phenominal, we could have spent the whole time on the deck. The kitchen was well set up, the town was just close enough - but still far enough away to make it a vacation! The location was clean and warm, and the owner was nice enough to help us find the restaurants and stores which we were looking for in Coupeville. Next time we stay here we will bring more groceries from home, the selection was limited at the market.

My wife, daughter and our dog stayed at the Bakerview Beach House for our 1 year wedding anniversary. The views were fantastic. My 7 year old daughter was thrilled that her bedroom had a TV in it. The stairs for the beach go right down to the beach edge. The place was very clean, and had a big kitchen. We just had a great time and did not want to leave. Our thanks to Patte the owner for providing such a fun venue. In addition she allowed my daughter to feed her alpacas and goats which she has right across the street. Thanks Patte

We booked a week at this beautiful house to celebrate my daughter's graduation from U of W. Patte was great with all the questions I had. The house had everything we could want. Patte also took my daughter's boyfriend clam digging and picking out mussels for dinner. The island had so many wonderful things to do. Besides the great views and wildlife we loved the whale watching (Mystic Sea) out of Anacortes. We all love watching the F 18's do touch and go's in the evenings too. Shopping in Coupeville and Langley was fun. We will definitely think about going back for the crabbing season. thanks for all you did Patte.
