The studio condo is located on the ground floor of the Casa Corazon Hotel and B&B building at Amapas 326. Walking along the beach, we are about 1/4 mile south of the municipal pier in the Zona Romantica section of Old Town Vallarta. Entry is from Amapas into the office which is on floor 8 and then down the elevator to the 4th floor. Floor 4 is the ground floor and is designated as such since it is 4 floors above sea level. A wide pathway to the beach (wheelchair accessible) is totally contained in the Casa Corazon grounds. The path ends at a gate at the malecon requiring one step down from the curb and one step back up on the other side. Pass through Ritmos Cafe to their palapas. When you want a change in ambiance and scenery, walk to the right toward the municipal pier. Passing (in order) Blue Chairs Beach Club, Beach Club "Lido", Blue Seas Spa, Fidencio's Bar and Restaurant, El Dorado, La Palapa, Amapas Sunset, Cuates Y Cuetes, Langostino's, SPA HOLISTIC, Playa Los Arcos restaurant, Daiquiri Dick's, The Blue Shrimp and A Taste of Italy. And unless you stopped you haven't been walking more than 10 minutes. Turn around in front of the last restaurant and look up the sidewalk and note the sign for La Playa Liquors. This is a Mexican chain that has the most varieties of tequilas and usually the best prices. In front of A Taste of Italy is a small park on the far side of which you can catch a bus for local destinations. There is a "dispatcher" of sorts on the sidewalk, tell him which store you want to go to (Sam's, Walmart, Costco, etc. and he will tell you which bus. Pay your 7 pesos when you get on and tell the driver where you want to get off. Now continue walking and pass Bar Los Burros, Langosta Loca, Epoca, fresh oysters on the half shell and reach the bridge over the River Cuale. You have been walking about 15 minutes! Now exit the building via the office entrance and turn left down the hill. A small mini-super is on the right. Reach the bottom and you have to turn right. Immediately notice the Cafe Bohemio and in deeper the restaurant Don Guacamole. Next door to that restaurant is the office of Dr. Pacheco who is very helpful, speaks perfect English and can help with minor health problems or accidents and will refer you on for anything more serious. Now pass Piazzetta, Coffee Cup, turn left at Trattoria Michel, O'Rourke's Pub, Cafe Tizoc, La Pizza Nostra, Bistro Balsamar, Que Pasa, the famous Andale, Tsunami, Kaiser Maximillian, Casa de Tandoor, turn right and note the Burrito Revolution Co., Cafe de Olla and Joe Jack's Fish Shack. 15 minutes walking time. As we said, Location, location, location!! For us (in our 60's) it is a 2 minute walk down to the beach including pauses to admire Pancho the gardener's handiwork.. The grounds have gated security and a night watchman on duty. The door has an extra deadbolt, chain lock and peephole. The sliding glass doors have dowel rods to insert at floor level for additional security. We have never had a security problem. Our condo has a queen size bed, kitchen with 2 burner stovetop and convection oven as well as all appliances and dishware. A/C, wi-fi, tv with cable, dvd and alarm clock are included. There is a day bed which would be suitable for a larger child or smaller adult. There is an additional charge of $5/day for a third person in the unit. No children under 12 are allowed. A 10 minute walk takes you to the heart of the Romantic Zone with many restaurants, clubs and two good stores to purchase food and drink. For longer stays and larger shopping trips, Sam's, Walmart, Costco and equivalent Mexican chains are an easy and inexpensive cab ride away.
This is a self-catering place to stay. It is perfect for people who like to "take care of themselves". If you require white glove service and someone following you to the beach in case you drop your towel, this is not your place. Book an all inclusive resort such as Barcelo and you will get all of this but be prepared for the bill! Regular people will enjoy this place. Have FUN!

50% of the rental fee in US Funds is required within five days of the reservation confirmation. Final payment is due 30 days prior to arrival date. All Christmas, New Years reservations and American Thanksgiving require 50% deposit and full payment is due 60 days prior to arrival. If your arrival date is less than 30 days full payment is due within five business days of confirmed reservation. We accept PayPal and wire transfers.As prior owners and operators of a B&B at Lake Chapala, Mexico we have tried to incorporate all that we learned during those 7 years into this rental. All questions and suggestions are welcome.
CANCELLATION POLICIES
Reservations must be cancelled 60 days prior to arrival for an 80% refund and the other 20% is an administrative processing fee. Reservations must be cancelled within 60 days of arrival or you will forfeit full rental charges. There will be no refunds due to acts of nature, religion or weather situations, mechanical failure, earthquake, golf conditions, etc. Trip insurance is strongly recommended.
Cancellation for hurricane, earthquake or any natural disaster or any other non controllable situations such as but not limited to construction in the area, unusual noise or other disturbances are non refundable. Please take out trip insurance.

The condo was very nice location was great . It was a garden condo so no veiw but the gardens were nice . The condo was clean ans bed was comfortable . Air worked and no stairs . The pool was very nice to watch the sunset and have a drink . I would stay there again and would recomend it anyone that wants a nice place to stay .The owner of the condo is very help ful also.
