Located in the center of Avalon, this comfy two story home offers six bedrooms and three full baths. Within easy walking distance to beach, bay, shops and restaurants and accommodating a large family, you will find this spacious traditional floor plan the perfect seashore rental. Greeted by an inviting front porch as you enter this lovely home, you will find a large living area with cathedral ceilings and flat screen TV and FREE internet connection. New custom kitchen with an upgraded appliance package and granite countertops, opening up to the dining room with a fireplace and sliders to the sun deck with eastern exposure. Off the back of the home is a master bedroom with queen size bed and hall bath with handicap installed rails and a walk-in shower with handicap rails. The front of the home has beautiful newly installed hardwood flooring and is newly painted in the living room!! It offers 3 beddrooms, two with queen size beds and one with two twins as well as a full hall bath. The second floor offers a huge master with a queen bed and eastern balcony, smaller bedroom with bunk beds and a hall bath. The large back yard for those summer barbeques completes the package. Cleaning is included as well as FREE wireless high speed internet and central air conditioning.

We were looking for a place convenient to the beach where our branch of the family could stay for a long weekend to celebrate our nephew's wedding. The house looks unassuming from the photos but was perfect - 3 separate sleeping areas with bathrooms, a well equipped modern kitchen, a huge dining room, nice side deck with beach toys included and a nice backyard, outdoor shower and clothes line. The owners hooked us up with a babysitter who brought games for the kids. We were 2 blocks from the beach and the boardwalk and 2 blocks from the best bakery in south Jersey - Kohler's. Avalon is a community of brand new, over the top expensive rentals. This place had everything we needed, was affordable and just the right balance of nostalgia for the way the shore used to be and appropriate upgrades to make our stay quite comfortable. Would definitely recommend for families or a group of friends.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children.

great area to be staying near center of surf town, close to beach walking distance, yard for kids to play , lots of room in house for all 12 guests and seating at diner table. LOVED IT!!!!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, tourists without a car, families with young children.

We (7 women, now known as the "Sassy 7") had a fabulous time! This was our third attempt at a Girls' Weekend Down the Shore but it was the first time we actually had beach weather! This place is awesome! Everything you could ever hope for in a home is there! We plan to make this our annual spot.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.

Clean, comfortable, spacious, nicely decorated home. Very conveniently located between shops and beach. Owner very accomodating and answers e-mails quickly. Photos in listing are accurate. Our first reaction when entering this home was, "WOW!" This home is so well kept, spacious, beautiful with all the amenities imaginable needed for a shore vacation. The house is very warm and inviting. Terrific kitchen with very large dining room table to accomadate hungry vacationers. I was drawn to the front porch with the lovely blue stripe awnings to watch the world go by. The outside shower was delightful, situated in a very pleasant and lush back yard. Nice wide street, just a short walk to the beach. Centrally located to restaurants, shops and bakeries. Dorothy made the rental process quite painless. We look forward to returning next year ! And yes, I would recommend this property to friends and relatives alike!Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, families with young children.

We have stayed in this house for the past couple of years. It's a great house for a large group. We love the updated kitchen and large dining area. You really can't beat the location - you can walk to everything.Recommended for: Families with young children.

Our family had a wonderful week at this vacation home in Avalon. The owners of the home were very helpful before, during, and after our vacation. They even met with us at the home in January to walk through the house and show us all of the rooms and answer all of our questions. There is plenty of room in the home for a large family. The six bedrooms are very comfortable and the kids appreciated the large bunk beds. The outside shower came in handy when everyone came back from the beach and quickly filled the bathrooms. The family room is roomy and comfortable. The cooks in the family raved about the kitchen. There was plenty of room around the large dining room table to seat all 13 of us for meals. A short two block walk is all that separates you from the beach. Less than a one block walk in the other direction will take you to many stores, shops, and eateries on the main street in town. This is a great vacation home for a large family looking to enjoy the New Jersey Shore.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, tourists without a car, families with young children.

We had the best most relaxing vacation at the beach in a very long time. The beach house was in excellent condition, a fantastic layout and flow, lots of space to rest and relax All of the bedrooms were very spacious with closets, the baths were clean and modern, the kitchen was well stocked with lots of pots, pans, and dishes,etc. We loved the yard, deck, grill and front porch. The outdoor shower was fantastic! This was truly a wonderful house to stay in, perfect walking distance to the beach, great neighborhood, close to shopping,etc. Everyone in our family said that they would love to come back to Avalon and stay here. I would highly recommend it to friends and family.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, adventure seekers, people with disabilities, families with teenagers, girls getaway, tourists without a car, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children.

Rates start at only $2500/wk beginning May and vary depending on the week you rent In height of 2013 season (6/29 - 8/24) our 6 bedroom house rents for only $4200/wk In season check in is 2:00 P.M. on Saturday and check out is 10:00 A.M. Saturday. In season May - September there is a 7 night minimum stay required. During off season (Oct - Apr) we offer discounted rates per night! We keep our calendar updated at all times.
