  Sherry was so helpful and easy to communicate with. The cabin was just as described and PERFECT! We needed a relaxing getaway from everyday life, and this place fit the bill. The creek was the most peaceful sound that we could hear from anywhere in the cabin just by opening a window. I wished we could have stayed longer!

  Recommended for: Girls getaway, age 55+, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers.

  Arrived at cabin to find yard in desperate need of a mowing. My 20 month grandson could not play in the yard for grass up past his knees. The bath tub up stairs was filthy and the water had such a smell (mineral I believe) that you couldn't stand to shower in it.Toilets need cleaning. Found a pair of men underwear under chair in upstairs bed room. Trail mix under futon down stairs. Basically this cabin needs a good cleaning! If clean and yard groomed it would be a lovely place to spend the weekend. I would not recommend this cabin.

This is a first in our 3 years of renting this property. We really want our guests to enjoy their vacations, so it's disappointing for us that your stay wasn't great. The quality of cleaning you described is definitely not the standard our crew has traditionally delivered, and they have been notified accordingly to correct the matter! Thank you for letting us know about this. Thank you also for letting us know about the water condition. The well water treatment system that normally takes care of the mineral odor and fixture staining had become overwhelmed, and is now fixed. As I mentioned on the phone the day you checked in, the landscapers cut the lawn every other week. We're grateful for the north Georgia rains, but they keep our grass and trees growing like crazy. For your inconvenience, should you decide to consider another visit to our cabin, we would be happy to offer you a free night's stay, and guarantee that all these matters will have been completely corrected. We really want all our guests to enjoy their vacations! Thank you again for choosing our cabin, and for your feedback.

  Cabin is every bit as good as described. We had a peaceful and comfortable "back to nature" retreat with the convenience of a quick and easy drive to "civilization." The key was the wonderful, accessible river. We loved the river swing, eating on the deck over the river, or sitting on the covered porch listening to the water. This would be an excellent place for a extended family gathering if the neighboring cabins are available, especially with the large front flat yard.

  Recommended for: Girls getaway, age 55+, sightseeing, families with young children.

  We stayed 3 nights - very relaxing. Beautiful home - stunning location. Fire pit was great! Well equiped. Plenty of room. Booking and refund of deposit was smooth. Thank you - a great property. The perfect end to a great holiday.

  We had a wonderful time in this beautiful log cabin. The stream was amazing, and helped us have a great sleep. We had wonderful lunches at the picnic table, and roasted delicious marshmallows with our own camp fire in the pit. We visited the small town, and loved it! Last but not least, we were able to celebrate a nice Easter with an egg hunt this morning. Thanks for this relaxing experience with the hot tub and porch. Our whole family enjoyed this experience so much we will be coming back to visit! :>

  My wife and I wanted to be next to a mountain stream. This was the best! We have been married 42 years, and have 7 children. We enjoy our getaways. Things about your place I enjoyed: fireplace with plenty of fire starters & dry wood, rocking chairs on the front porch, chairs with foot rests, mural, hot tub porch with chairs and wide steps so you can witness the flowing water. Each room seemed like a little haven. We own a couple of vacation rentals, so we enjoy seeing what others do to create a beautiful experience. We ate at the brewery and the restaurant on the river. Great steaks at both places. Enjoyed walking through the shops. Thank you for providing this place. It complimented the joy, peace and love we brought with us.

  What a great way to bring in the new year. It is so nice to get back to nature, I could be here every day. We slept with the window open, and listened to the stream. We used the hot tub (of course!) and built fires both inside and out. In town, we drove down GA-60 and went to see the suspension bridge. We visited Sugarhill cemetary. The weather while we were here was perfect. We had a great time, and were very pleased with the cabin. Thank you, and HAPPY NEW YEAR!

  The Cabin was so relaxing with the sound of the water all the time. When we did go out for a day trip - Mercer, Blue Ridge, swinging bridge (lots to do) - the kids were begging to go "home" as they loved the creek, catching fish, salamander etc. We had a fire every night, went for walks and felt so refreshed when we arrived home. Accommodation was great - 4 kids.

  Enjoyed it very much. Very relaxing. Hot tub was great. Slept upstairs with the window open to listen to teh creek -- Overall Fabulous!

  Although this cabin will comfortably sleep 8, this time it was a getaway for just me and my husband of 42 yrs. It was exactly what we needed. Impeccably clean and well furnished, I would love to have cooked in this kitchen, but we just couldn't resist so many of the wonderful local eating establishments. (Blue Ridge Brewery, Toccoa Riverside Restaurant) Many more we plan to come back to try. We also enjoyed perusing the downtown shops and antique stores. My favorite moments at this place were relaxing in the hot tub on the back porch with view and sounds of the creek. We kept the music channel on through DirectTV inside for added ambiance. My favorite indoor spots were the club chair with ottoman across from the back door where I could relax with a good book and a candle or watch the creek through the door. And of course the upstairs bedroom with the window at the headboard through which you can see and hear the creek. Although it rained and stormed the whole time we were here, we had a very memorable stay and will definitly be back. I want to come when it's warm enough to dangle my toes in the creek and feed the ducks from the swing and deck that are literally built over the creek. Thanks for the memories, Doug & Patti
