  We were traveling to Gunnison for my son's graduation and did not stay long but we wished we had more time to spend. It was close enough to town so trips back and forth to campus and groceries were no hassle. It was quiet, clean and could easily have accommodated 8 or more. Beautiful hot tub under clear dark skies, on private back deck. Cleaning fee was extra. Not a big deal but keep in mind when comparison shopping.

  This VRBO property is awesome. The house is large, will hold large family with comfort for all, beautiful country surrounding it and the nicest hosts you'll ever meet. Would rent here again in a heartbeat!! Went with 4 smal children and older adults as well. Everyboidy had a good time and were sad to leave!!!

  We chose this home because we had a large gathering (10 people) for the start of Ride the Rockies. I am thrilled we stayed here!! Everyone commented on how large and comfortable the house was. There was plenty of room for sleeping and for us all to spread out. We loved the layout of the kitchen/living room--we could all hang out together when cooking--and the bedrooms were separate from the common areas to give lots of privacy. The dining area had space for us all to eat together and the kitchen and outdoor grill were stocked with all of the necessary tools. The deck out back and hot tub were also popular gathering areas. We loved hearing the horses as we soaked! The deck looked out over green meadows and was very private. The garage was huge and easily held our bikes and other gear. We also were very happy with the location--it was a straight shot into Gunnison. The description and pictures of the home were spot-on. The home was immaculate and had all the creature comforts needed to make our stay perfect. The owners were gracious and helpful and extremely accommodating. They responded immediately to my questions and, even though I didn't have the opportunity to meet them in person, were very welcoming in every way. I would highly recommend this home to anyone looking to make Gunnison home base for adventures in Gunnison itself, Blue Mesa Reservoir, Crested Butte, and surrounding areas. Stop your house search now and book this one!!

  Thank you so much for providing us with a perfect home to celebrate our son's graduation from Western State College. We are from the Dolores area and we had relatives from Pueblo, Durango, as well as CA and OK join us for the three days. The house was perfect for a large gathering. The kitchen made meal preparation easy. We really enjoyed the back yard and patio with the hot tub. The yard was really nice and we spent alot of time playing yard games. The pool table and air hockey table were great fun too. The bedrooms were very comfortable and it was easy to feel right at home. All in all we couldn't have asked for a more perfect place for our celebration. I would definitely recommend this house to anyone considering a rental in Gunnison.

  Omg! This home is beautiful inside and out. Brenda the work you put into the yard shows. This home is very spacious for the 5 of us. This was our first time visiting Gunnison and one of our best vacations ever. Brenda and her son were very helpful. We enjoyed everything about the house. We sat on the front porch in the morning enjoying the beautiful yard and in the evenings our kids enjoyed the hot tub. I really don't want to tell anyone about this house because then it will be all booked up. We are hoping to go back next summer. Thanks Brenda for opening your home. It was GREAT!! ps hope the concert was good. The Anderson

  My children and their families attempt a week together every year. we chose the mountains this year and Gunnison was centrally located. The house was very well described with good website pictures. This property immediatly became home. Excellent stereo, great hot tub, beautiful landscape, and a location that made it easy to see much of central Colorado. Brenda was the best host ever, the weather was great, and the home sure beat motels and hotels. I enjoyed the local history museum and we caught trout, took a park ranger guided pontoon boat ride down the river, white water rafted, went to Crested Butte, and got to see Mesa Verde. Could have enjoyed a few more days. My family really thank you Brenda and Nick for sharing your dream home with us.

  This vacation home is everything it's described to be. The pictures, which are gorgeous, don't do it justice. Our large family of 7 spent a very comfortable week in this home in July. We were not disappointed! The kitchen and living areas are beautiful with plenty of room to cook and move around. The bedroom areas are spacious as well, and the beds are very comfy. The house was spotless when we arrived, and had everything we could possibly need, especially in the kitchen. We enjoyed taking advantage of the hot tub in the evenings when it got chilly. The outside is just as beautiful as the inside with it's spectacular views, and the cute little stream down by the fence. We were so jealous of all of Brenda's hanging baskets around the house.....the flowers were just beautiful. We had children aged 6 and 12 and they never got bored. The game room upstairs is equipped with air hockey and pool which they enjoyed very much. It was also very handy to have access to Nick and Brenda to get the best advice on where to eat, etc. Thanks again guys! I could keep going, talking about how much we enjoyed the house, but to be honest, I was very reluctant to even write this review at all. I would much prefer to keep the place a secret so we can have our pick of dates for next summer!! Campbell and Malone Families

  This home has it all. The master bedroom, game room and kitchen are fabulous. The hot tube is a true asset. Need a spice or cooking utensil, they have it! The owners go out of their way to make this an enjoyable stay. I can't say enough about this VRBO rental! Thank you Brenda.
