BEAUTIFUL CABIN!
BEAUTIFUL CABIN!

My husband and I, plus my sister (& her cat) stayed here the first full week of May. We really enjoyed the cabin and it met all of our needs. On our first night there a herd of about 25 elk massed up on the property and then crossed the river in single file, which was way cool to witness! The temperatures this time of year were chilly at night (low 30's) but daytime high's were 50's - 70's. However, we still enjoyed beautiful views of snow-capped mountains in every direction. The road it's on is a great one if you like taking brisk walks, bike riding, jogging, etc., as driver visibility is really good in either direction. The only thing I would change IF this were my own cabin would be to add window coverings inside. The ONLY windows with shades are in the master bathroom. The master bedroom has glass French doors (that face South towards the next cabin about 100 yards away), plus four windows that face the river and two cathedral windows. The closest cabin wasn't rented the week we were there but had it been, we would have felt a bit exposed at night when the bedroom lights were on. One morning I awoke to find a boat with fishermen in plain view of me in bed! Plus, being on vacation, we wanted to sleep in, but it got daylight around 5:30, causing lots of light to stream in! I know I'm saying negative things, but this was the ONLY thing negative about this place! We'd all still give it 10 (not 5) stars and hope to return to it again in the future.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

The house and setting was exactly as pictured. It was beautiful. The house was well maintained and stocked with all the amenties you would find in your own home. IT was equipped with central air and heat, large flat panel TV in the living room and another large TV in the master bedroom. The satelite made it possible for my sports fan husband to be able to see the start of the NFL season. It made our week long stay very relaxing and worry free. Many nights we opened the windows in the bedroom to hear the water from the river right outside. Very tranquil. The drive to Yellowstone was and enjoyable drive. You were not in the hustle and bustle of the towns with row after row of hotels. We were able to sit on the porch in the swing and enjoy our morning coffee in our pajamas. There were daily visits from the bald eagle, ducks, geese, deer, and elk. I have recommended this house to many of my friends already and hope we can return again to share our experience with them.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

Our family had a wonderful time at Paradise River's Edge! The cabin is in a great location with very convenient access to Yellowstone Nat'l. Park, fishing, Livingston, & Bozeman. We enjoyed exploring the park, fishing in the river -- both right outside the cabin and at some of the many public access areas, river rafting, hiking, and just seeing more of this incredibly beautiful part of our country. The cabin is very nice, as shown in the pictures, well stocked with everything you need for your stay. The master bedroom is amazing -- you don't even have to get out of bed to enjoy the incredible river and mountain views. We also appreciated the excellent selection of guidebooks, including a couple of our favorites -- the Day Hike series by Robert Stone and Yellowstone Treasures by Janet Chapple. The Bozeman Day Hikes book led us to discover Hyalite Canyon just south of Bozeman, where we went on a beautiful hike past multiple waterfalls. The lending library is also a nice touch -- many new ideas to put on our "to read" lists. Thanks so much to Dan & Diane for sharing your special place with us!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children.

Our family had a wonderful time at the cabin. We found it very clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our time in Montana. We enjoyed the views from the cabin and the porch was a nice relaxation spot to view the wildlife. About a 25 minute drive to the North Entrance of Yellowstone National Park. We can't wait to return.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children.

We spent 3 nights at this gorgeous home with our 5 boys!!! The house is right on the Yellowstone River with panoramic views of the mountains. The long porch complete with rocking chairs was the perfect spot to spend evenings watching the sunset and listening to the river while the kids played on the "beach". The home is spacious, has a great kitchen, comfortable living space, nice private and large master suite, and the kids loved the loft. Everything was well stocked and extremely clean. It's a short drive to the town of Gardiner (get groceries and drinking water there as there's no other shopping close by) and the North entrance to Yellowstone. Great place to come home to after spending the day in the park. We didn't want to leave and will definitely return some day. Thank you, Dan & Diane for sharing your wonderful home with us.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

I cannot imagine a better location for a visit to Yellowstone Park. We were very impressed with the cabin. It has all the features of home and is about thirty yards from the Yellowstone River. Going to sleep with the sound of the river in the background was a real treat. The loft was perfect for our daughter. It was better than having her own room. We have stayed at many VRBOs and this cabin ranks with the best of them. Unfortunately, we were unable to meet Dan and Diane as they were off fishing on the day we stopped into the Sweetwater Fly Shop to see them. Thanks to them for opening up their cabin to us. It was all we hoped it would be. Terry & KathyRecommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

What a view! The cabin is so well stocked and so comfortable. We enjoyed watching the cowboy work his cattle across the river. There was an eagles nest across the river we loved watching. We saw elk, mule deer and beautiful rainbows. Even the snow storm was perfect..It snowed, covered everything white and was goine the next day. I could not have ordered a more perfect vaction. Thank you Dan and Diane for a wonderful Montana home away from home.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

We had regular visits from elk, eagles, meadowlarks, and deer. We were inspired by the wildlife and moved by the scenery. Canoe trips were a weekly activity. Thank you for the fun. We plan on coming back seasonally. Cheers!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1
