The place was impeccably clean. The hosts were so very friendly and helpful if we needed anything. The spot was great for anyone that enjoys the river. The cabin was so cool and history behind it was fascinating. Wish we didn't have to get back to work my wife didn't want to leave.

This little cabin was a slice of heaven in Paradise! Our family loved staying there and coming back to it after playing in Yellowstone everyday. It had everything we needed and the view was amazing.

The cabin and park-like property was even better than imagined. The cabin was impeccably clean, quaint and stocked with everything we needed for our week-long stay. The covered deck quickly became our favorite place to relax each afternoon after a game of horseshoes. It’s an easy drive to Yellowstone NP and less than an hour from the airport in Bozeman. The communication was fantastic and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It’s the most relaxing vacation we’ve had in some time. Thanks Jackie and Ralph.

The cabin was so cozy and clean. It had everything we needed and more. The location and views were breath taking. The hosts were 2 of the nicest people we met. Everyone in the town was great .If you like to fish this is definitely the place! And not long to Yellowstone NP.Hopefully we will return next year and to crabapple cabin!Thank you SO much Jackie and Ralph!

The property was exactly what we were looking for: a cozy cabin with plenty of private yard space. The Yellowstone River was just steps away from the cabin. It was so relaxing to sit near the river and look for the eagles. The outdoor string lights made the property look magical at night. We arrived late at night and had a hard time identifying the cabin in the dark. I thought the steep hill would dump us in the river or to a different property but it didn’t. We just had to keep going. I was impressed with the quality of the linens and the comfort of the beds. You could tell the hosts cared about their guests. Ralph dropped by to check in and he and Jackie left a homemade bottle of wine. I’m excited to try it. We would love to come back.

Peaceful and secluded cabin

Our stay at the Crabapple Cabin was terrific. The cabin had spectacular access to the Yellowstone River and we really enjoyed being able to fish from the riverbank. The quiet and privacy of the cabin is exactly what we needed to relax and recharge.

Heavenly Cabin

We enjoyed our week's stay at Crabapple Cabin. Our dogs enjoyed the large backyard to run around and play fetch. The cabin was the perfect distance from Yellowstone, Livingston, and hiking in the mountains. We enjoyed learning about the history of the cabin and watching the wildlife. We had a very peaceful and relaxing stay at a very beautiful setting.

Such an adorable cabin in a great location on the river. Well manicured lawn btw the cabin and river. Saw trout rising in the two holes right at the property. Too bad I didn’t have my fishing gear! Had the pleasure of mtg Ralph and had a wonderful conversation with him. Such a beautiful history to this cabin and place. I’m 6’3” and had to duck my head through a couple of the doorways in the cabin and the shower was definitely not made with taller people in mind but all in all it just added to the unique speciality of this place. We had to do some remote work and the internet worked fine with only a couple of glitches. Worth it to be able to sit under the covered deck while we worked and watched the river flow by. We were visited by some deer and a doe with its spotted fawn. Adorable bunnies were seen on the regular eating the clover in the yard. There’s an Eagles nest across the river so we enjoyed watching and hearing them. Totally recommend this great experience.

Fantastic Place!

We instantly fell in love with Crabapple Cabin! Just the right size for a couple, very private location, and the location is perfectly situated halfway between Gardiner (Yellowstone Park) and Livingston! Super and knowledgeable hosts. We will definitely return!

Quaint small log cabin right on the Yellowstone. Owners just up the hill happy to show the place and handy for any issues. Doe and fawn in the yard most mornings!

We had the best stay at Crabapple Cabin! It was perfect. Close to everything in the valley. Right on the Yellowstone River. Fishing was Excellent! Eagle sightings, deer sightings. It was a perfect stay. Highly Recommend!

Beautiful place! The host welcomed us and gave us a quick tour, showing where everything is. Then, he left us alone. The cabin was very clean and easy to live in for the 4 days we were there. We couldn't ask for a more peaceful place to spend time, whether it was drinking morning coffee on the porch or by the riverside, watching the eagles and even a beaver, or spending evenings watching deer and again, the eagles. We would come again!!
Numerous deer, many with fawns, also call this place home.
