Situated just a short two block walk from the historic Sonoma Plaza, this recently renovated mid-century classic California Ranch home provides the comforts of a cozy and private wine country retreat and getaway.
The home is situated on one half acre of land, providing visitors with charming gardens, expansive outdoor entertaining spaces and a new 15' x 35' inground salt water pool with solar heating, volleyball net and automatic cover. A separate 4 person hot tub is provided for a $35 hot tub cleaning fee.
The renovated ranch-styled home offers an open great room entertainment area with living, dining, kitchen island and cook area with large flat screen tv. The home also offers two master bedrooms with generous sized en-suite bathrooms, complete with shower/tub combo, vanity and toilet area.
SEPARATE AND WITH ADDED FEE: For flexibility and for parties of more than 4 persons, we can also offer a separate pool house with a queen-sized sleeper sofa and full bath (can accommodate 2 additional persons). This space is great for entertaining next to the pool and also includes a small kitchenette with refridgerator and sink, dining table and small sitting area. A laundry unit is provided in the pool house and unlocked to guests for an additional $25 fee. Please note that this pool house is not rented separately to other parties during your stay, and is only available to you if needed.

Bob McDonald is part owner and property manager for Sonoma Farmhouse which includes Sonoma Farmhouse Town in Sonoma, Sonoma Farmhouse Country in Kenwood, and now the newly renovated Sonoma Farmhouse Ranch house in Sonoma.
Bob has been managing Sonoma Farmhouse since 2004.
Bob's background and education is in Urban Planning and Landscape Design. He has a local landscape design business, and has professionally landscaped and lovingly restored each of the Sonoma Farmhouse properties, including the Ranch home.
Bob is active in Sonoma, volunteering for the City of Sonoma Design Review Commission, and is a member of the Sonoma Chamber of Commerce, the Sonoma Historic Society and the Sonoma Valley Visitor's Bureau. Bob makes sure that every property detail is taken care for your visit at Sonoma Farmhouse Ranch, including the maintenance and production of Sonoma Farmhouse brand wines. This house is lovely! After wine tasting in Sonoma it was wonderful to come home to such a lovely house and garden. Having the town square so close was also great when we wanted a walk to get coffee or cheese at the Sonoma Cheese Factory!
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway, families with young children.
