One of my best vacations and location ever!

We came to stay the week/weekend of the Pebble Beach Concourse D'Elegance. The location was perfect, nice quite and very relaxing setting but still close to all the car action. There was the most amazing view of the ocean and a nice balcony and patio furniture to enjoy it from. The room was very large with a huge sunken tub where you can look out the window to the ocean as you soak all your cares away; and big comfy robes to wrap up in when finished. Full kitchen with all the amenities if you feel like cooking, we just ordered room service. There is also a wood burning fireplace with a plethora of chopped wood right outside the front steps. There is also casual and formal dining - with amazing views- on the property and a nice gift shop with a lot of wonderful spa products. It was such a nice vacation we hope to return to this rental in the near future. One of the great perks of staying during the car show was a lot of the car owners were also staying on the property so we got what seemed like a private car show every morning and evening!!! Biggest highlights are the location, views and peacefulness of the ocean and mountains but still close enough to Pebble Beach and Monterey to enjoy all the action. There was housekeeping so everything was crisp and clean and that fee was included in the rental price - not like some other rentals where we had to pay extra. I would recommend this rental to anyone looking for a romantic getaway, also a great place to stay during the Councours D'Elegance. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did!

I have always been attracted to the Carmel/Pebble Beach area, and lived there until 2008. The Highlands Inn is the Premier hotel/resort in the Monterey Peninsula bar none.
