Welcome to Seashore Magic - where magical weekend escapes come together through the eyes of Disney engineers and an award-winning resort developer. Far from an ordinary home, rented from a private owner, Seashore Magic is packed with entertainment and was purposely created for romantic getaways and family/ friend reunions. Here you will find more luxurious finishes and electronics than in our 6-bedroom Himmilscher Chateau (VRBO # 148950), but in a smaller duplex home that just one to three couples can enjoy and afford.
Imagine snuggling on a huge fourteen-foot sofa with cuddle loungers while you surf the web on a sixteen foot high-definition screen and watch boats cruise the intra-coastal waterway just outside the huge plate glass windows. Our chef, trained in the south of France, cooks up an amazing meal that is set up for you on fine linen surrounded by water views, and as the candles are lit, the sun sets over the open water. After dinner, you simply press a button to enjoy a 3D movie ON-Demand in your private high-definition theater or head over to nearby Atlantic City to the comedy show that is included in your stay. In the morning, you can take a bike ride on the boardwalk, or walk to the end of the street to our chef’s restaurant for a gourmet breakfast. In the afternoon, enjoy a frozen drink from our commercial blender and savor it in the hot tub as boats and seagulls glide by.
We have lined up plenty of things to do in the winter, fall and spring, including outlet shopping, golf, tennis, fishing, gambling and more, but we also have given you so much to do inside the house that most people seldom leave. Seashore Magic is equipped with practically every popular video game system available today, including X-Box 360, Nintendo Wii, X-Box Kinect and X-Box Live. This means that you can sing karaoke through the 7.1-channel surround sound system, play golf, or have a dance competition. You can even have full-action bowling tournaments right on the living room theater screen with all the same movements, but without ever having to pick up a heavy ball or leave the amazing water views. Unlike renting a room at the casino where you immediately start spending additional money for fun, our guests comment on how little our magical weekends cost because there is so much to do here that is already included.
Party Aboard a Yacht
Seashore Magic is so close to the water that the cabana porch and six-person hot tub actually sit over it. With this and the fabulous water views in mind, we designed the interior with extensive use of fine hardwoods, marble and custom-lit glass etched works of art to resemble the inside of a yacht. Not only are the floors made of fine hardwoods with custom inlays, but the entire living room ceiling is covered with ¾”-thick African Mahogany and crown moldings painted with high gloss oil-based paint. All of the kitchen cabinets, crown moldings and trim are custom made from the same hand-selected pieces of African Mahogany, and there are so many layers of crown and other moldings that you can’t count them. The kitchen and living room are finished off with original signed artwork and illuminated stained and etched glass by famed lifestyle artists Emily Parister, Guy Harvey and more.
The centerpiece of the kitchen is a flush-mounted 40” LED computer/TV screen for viewing content online and listening to it over the dolby DTS souround sound system. The commercial kitchen is a chef’s delight with all stainless steel appliances and a two-horsepower commercial blender that makes amazing frozen drinks and fruit smoothies.
Extensive use of two-way mirrors allow guests to enjoy water views from the kitchen, living room/dining room, bedroom, and even when you are in the shower and brushing your teeth without others seeing in. The entire master bedroom and bath is magically hidden – call us for clues when you arrive – and you won’t believe it when you find it! The ceiling is raised, indirectly up-lit and trimmed in twelve-inch wide African Mahogany crown molding. The bath is finished in marble and LED-lighted glass, custom etched with local seashore scenes.
The second bedroom is the largest in the house and contains two double beds and an optional brass dancing pole (must request this by email at the time the original reservation is made). This was the former master bedroom before we totally redesigned and refinished the house. The third bedroom has a queen size bed and all rooms have cable televisions. A large bathroom sits between the second and third bedrooms which has both a shower and a jetted bath tub.
Outside Activities
Fishing - Some of the best fishing takes place in the spring, summer and fall. This is when the water is cooler and the big Striped Bass - up to five feet long and weighing up to 50 pounds – come into the bay and the surf and can be caught right off the dock at the house (with fishing rods provided) or the beach with surf rods. Winter flounder are also a popular catch and there are several charter and party boats we can book for you, year-round, if you want to all but guarantee your chances of catching.
Boardwalk – Ocean City’s boardwalk is crowded in the summer, but many of the most popular stores and attractions are open year-round, such as Mack & Manco Pizza, who also deliver. The boardwalk is a great place to take a bike ride, surrey cart ride, jog or enjoy a nice long scenic walk.
Shopping – Seashore Magic is located in the busiest part of town, a short walk from all the stores, restaurants and ice cream parlors on nearby Asbury Avenue and the boardwalk. There are also numerous antique shops in town, huge shopping malls 20 minutes away in Egg Harbor Township and name-brand designer stores and factory outlets in Atlantic City.

Our family of eight wanted a place to relax for a long weekend over theThanksgiving break. This beautifully decorated and immaculately clean home gave us all we could ask for. The accomodations are above and beyond any rental property. We only needed to bring our groceries. The property manager and owners were superb to work with. The views from the deck were magical, especially the sunsets! We made these reservations site unseen and were not disappointed as everything was as pictured and described. Only con I could think of was the limited parking space; although there was street parking nearby once you unload your vehicle. A great luxury rental definately worth the money; and would be a wonderful place for a summer vacation along the coast. P.S. A great deal if you want to visit nearby Atlantic City which we did! :)Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

We needed a romantic and peaceful break this fall, but did not want to spend our time traveling far from the Philadelphia area. A friend recommended this place and it surely fit the bill. We had a heavenly time. The view of the bay cannot be beat and was especially enjoyed from the hot tub. The place was spotless and so comfortable. Everything in the house is new. The design was beautiful with everything conveniently situated. The technology was a plus for watching movies, and for us, the easy access to the computer and internet was a plus. though there is a game system, we did not use it. The owner was friendly and helpful, wanting us to have a great time. Ocean City has lots to do, even in the non summer months if you are interested. Our only venture out was a quick trip to Atlantic City one night. This home has amazing views in every direction!! We had such a great time staying at this house and the hidden bedroom was an amazing romantic touch! The rooms are gorgeous and the entertainment center has every bell and whistle you could possibly imagine!! We sat on the couch enjoying some wine and watching movies while the sun went down and boats went past us, an awesome experience. About: My wife and I have spent decades renting the best vacation homes available with family and friends, only to be disappointed. Some slept 20, but only had a 12-inch frying pan to cook in. Often, the furniture and televisions were mismatched throw-aways from the owners’ principle residences and music came from a 2-inch speaker in a clock radio. As a result we started Slopes to Sands Dream Vacation Homes to perfect the group vacation experience on a Disney quality level including unprecedented designs, features and service. For example, Seashore Magic was designed with larger-than-life hi-def televisions and a 16 feet 3-D gaming theater, outrageous sound systems, a commercial kitchen, and nicer designer selected furniture and cabinets than I have in my own home. It was also purposely designed from the ground up specifically for couples and group vacations and entertaining. Before drafting the house, we calculated the views from each room then we blueprinted the fun for every activity. Next, we put the pieces of the house around the fun and views where they best belonged and let form follow function in the truest sense of the expression. Slopes to Sands Dream Vacation Homes have commercial and resort residential properties in several states and counties. We strive to develop protocols, policies and procedures that allow us to manage each property much better than a single owner/operator and far more like a Hyatt or Four Seasons hotel. Why Private Homes, Ocean City Homes:
We also own the 6 bedroom Himmlischer Chateau (vrbo #148950) on Ski-Big Bear Mountain, near the PA, NJ and New York border. It is booked every weekend but our customers have asked for a more economical house that they could rent with just 1 to 3 couples but with similar features. This house is a much closer commute to NY and Philadelphia and in a resort area with plenty restaurants, entertainment and shopping choices.

Storm-watching – One of our favorite things to do in the fall, winter and spring is to snuggle up on the couch and watch thunder, lightning and snow storms move across the bay. Seashore Magic’s unique peninsula location affords spectacular views of storms and light shows from lightning to the south, west, and north.
Bird watching and nature tours – Because of the wildlife nesting beach next to the house, some of the best bird watching in the area takes place right here. Some rare species travel for miles just to eat the horseshoe crab eggs, and other nocturnal species only come out at night and can be seen sitting on our pilings.
