This cabin has a lush wooded view and is located near the National Park border. Main level offers easy access to the common areas with living room featuring a wood burning fireplace, TV and and DVD. Fully equipped kitchen and dining area. Washer and dryer. Each bedroom is a suite (1 King, 1 Queen) with private bath and Jacuzzi tub. Each bedroom has deck access. Spacious deck with hot tub and deck furniture. Loft offers a pool table and sitting area, stereo with CD player and full bath.

Total relaxation

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The chalet has everything you need to enjoy your stay. This chalet is very high up in the mountains and is worth the drive up! We stayed with some friends and they had the suite with the queen bed, we had the king bed. We found the beds to be very comfortable. There were MANY bear right outside at least twice a day in our drive and around the front deck. The first night we were there is was raining and the next morning there were paw prints on our truck doors. We were there the week of Labor Day. I will agree with some previous comments about the stove and hot tub. The stove burners 3 of them, didn’t fit properly so they really didn’t work well. The hot tub sloped to one side and was clearly not level. I would definitely suggest doing your grocery shopping before you head up again, the drive up and down is quite high, steep hills and a lot of turns. There is a small grocery store that has all the basics you could need about halfway up to the chalet. They also do pizza and will delivery to you. This came in real handy the first night after a 9 hour drive to the smokies. The view is beautiful, with a beautiful sunrise view. We would definitely recommend this chalet. It could use some updating but it is still a very welcoming comfortable chalet.

Excellent rental company

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed many times and Laurel Mountain is by far our favorite company to rent from. The cabins are plentiful, always clean and as advertised, the staff friendly and cooperative. This stay was their highest altitude place with a view over everything. 2 master suites, deck, hot tub, pool table, huge tv.

Needs a lot of TLC

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Dirty isn’t even the word to describe how filthy the cabin was. The Main issue was the stove/oven did not work. Only 1 burner worked and it was the smaller one. I was very dissatisfied with our stay. Will not recommend you to anyone.
