This home was truly built for a great time with an open floor plan, grand patio and ipod ready stereo system throughout. Other amenities include a private beach, breathtaking views and a large professionally maintained yard. It is not uncommon to wake up and see half a dozen deer on the property, occasionally you may even see the red fox.
Cranberry Castle is complete with a gourmet kitchen, two massive fireplaces, hand-hewn logs, granite countertops, a theatre room, wireless internet and quaint northwoods décor. From the pristine sand frontage to the the outdoor fireplace and commercial gas grill, there is something for everyone. Sitting at the upper level pub table you can have a glass of wine while enjoying the view of Cranberry Lake.
Cranberry Lake on the famous Eagle River Chain commands the highest property values as it offers the unique benefit of being the last lake before the Three Lakes Chain. At just under 1,000 acres, Cranberry Lake is known for great muskie fishing and is technically the second largest lake on the chain. This quiet lake has almost no through traffic making it ideal for both water sports and fishing. The lack of boats makes for safe swimming and tubing for children of all ages. The two car garage and large driveway allow for safe storage and parking for all the cars, trailers and toys. If you are looking for a one of a kind vacation home look no further than Cranberry Castle.

Truely a dream come true! This house was amazing in every way. My family stayed here over the New Year and we never wanted to leave the house. It had a ping pong table, movie theater, pool table, a huge dining room table overlooking gorgeous grounds/lake with massive windows. The kitchen was too die for so cooking was actually fun! The owner was so accomodating and nice. We will definetly be back!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, tourists without a car, families with young children, adventure seekers, girls getaway.

We had an amazing time at the "castle!" With 24 family members in one location you'd think we'd be cramped, but we were extremely comfortable. This home is not lacking for anything. We have stayed at several private homes and resorts in the Eagle River/Rhinelander areas and this was by far the finest. We had dinner several evenings at home and the kitchen/dining areas were perfect for our large group. The kids LOVED the in home theater in the evenings! They must have watched a dozen movies. After a long, cold day on the snowmobile trails we would start a roaring fire which quickly warmed us up. Brandon made sure the there was plenty of stacked, dry firewood in the wood shed. Speaking of Brandon, he was was extremely helpful throughout the entire process from inquiring about the property to booking it to answering any questions. We look forward to returning again some day, possibly in the summer. My husband wants to try to catch some Musky! Great time had by all!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, families with young children, adventure seekers.

I thought the cabin seemed expensive but when divided by four families it was very reasonable. We had a great family reunion. The lake is fantastic. The bay is quiet and sandy. Our kids had a great time swimming. The grounds were well maintained and the cabin was clean.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing, romantic getaway, pet owners, tourists without a car, families with young children, adventure seekers, girls getaway, people with disabilities.

We spent the weekend at "Cranberry Castle". It was beautiful. The weather was warm and sunny for April in Northern Wisconsin with one cooler day. There was plenty to do with the town of Eagle River within eight miles and Three Lakes within six miles. We did venture out to the "Loon" and "Lumpy's" for drinks and "local entertainment". It was just what you would image northern Wis. to be like without all the tourist. The property was fantastic. My wife loved the kitchen and made excellent meals. Friends joined us and there was plenty of space to "escape" from the kids. The kids enjoyed the theater room and the up stairs game room kept them busy. We spent nights on the deck with a fire and wine. We did not venture into the water, but the beach and shoreline were sandy and inviting. There was great sleeping in the log bedrooms and the expansive ceilings made it seem like we were really in a Castle. I would recommend Cranberry Castle to anyone. It met our every expectation and then some. Enjoy!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing, romantic getaway, pet owners, families with young children, adventure seekers, girls getaway.

About the owner: We purchased a smaller home on the lot in 2000 for the beautiful frontage. We then built Cranberry Castle as our dream retirement home with plenty of space for the children's families. Cranberry Castle was completed in 2006 and we had some great times up there with family and friends. Plans change and we do not get to use the cabin as we had hoped, so we decided to let others enjoy our family home.
