Shaded by an old live oak, the cottage looks out to the surrounding forest of Douglas Fir, Madrone, and Redwood. The westward vista from the wooden deck beckons to the Mendocino coast beyond. Abundant bird and wildlife include year-round residents and seasonal visitors.
The spacious cottage has a high-pitched ceiling, skylights, and a wall of windows looking north. Soothing colors and contemporary furnishings create a relaxed yet sophisticated ambience. The wood-burning stove keeps the space cozy during chilly times of the year, with abundant seasoned Madrone from the property.
