About Wayne Rogers
Amy and Harry Rogers purchased this promiscuously (botanical term) planted vineyard in 1962. By 1972 the grapes were harvested for David Stare's (Dry Creek Vineyards) Premiere Zinfandel bottling in 1973, 1974, and 1975. Over the years, Rogers Vineyards Zinfandel grapes have been found in numerous high end producers - including Preston and Fritz Cellars. The last twenty-seven years (since 1987) the grapes have been a part of the world renowned A. Rafanelli Winery Zinfandel. Wayne and Pauline are your hosts and have tried to make their 'little home in the country', your 'little home in the country'. They make their main home four miles down the road on a Sauvignon Blanc Vineyard. Healdsburg is more than just a home for the Rogers'. Please feel free to call them if you would like to view the town through a locals eye. They love to talk 'story' on Healdsburg.

Why Wayne Rogers chose Healdsburg
This vineyard has been in the Rogers family for over 50+ years. The property owners would like to share with those that want to experience all aspects of Healdsburg. Wayne Rogers grew up in Healdsburg on weekends, vacations, and summers as a child (since 1962). He wanted his own kids to have a 'like' experience and so moved his immediate family to Healdsburg - full time - 1997. The entire family has made Healdsburg their permanent home and hope all guests will be able to experience many of the wonderful activities in Healdsburg that made it so desirable for the Rogers'.
What makes this Cabin unique
Zin, Zin, Zin. Old Vine Zinfandel grapes makes this vineyard & cabin unique and one of the driving factors for Amy and Harry to become farmers. For our visitors to wine country, and in particular, Healdsburg, this cabin has a location that is convenient to all events/facilities that make Healdsburg a travel destination. You are ten minutes from the Healdsburg Plaza with its world reknown eateries, tasting rooms, bakeries, and brewery. If wine tasting is your fancy, you can start out in the middle of a Dry Creek Valley from your Rogers Vineyards Cabin vantage point. Located one mile off West Dry Creek Road, the cabin is quiet and the star lit night skies are something to behold. Morning turkey calls or song birds will be your largest disturbance. You may get glimpses of the turkeys or deer or rabbits or pigs or squirrels. Wildlife abounds. You can hike the country road where you may or may not see a car. If you brought bicycles, ride them on a paved road out to West Dry Creek Road - one of the best roads in the nation for biking.

Stunning hideaway in the Vineyards of Sonoma
We absolutely loved staying at Rogers Vineyard's Cabin. The place itself was so charming and the views are unparalleled. It was like having our own private getaway with also being so close to town. Wayne was an outstanding host. We had an issue with a power outage one night which was not a big deal and out of his control but Wayne not only reimbursed us a bit of our stay, he also left us coffee and a gift card for a local restaurant. We were so grateful! My partner and I would 100 percent stay here again and will recommend this place to all our friends and family traveling to the region.
amazing location and cabin
truly nestled in the vineyards. wonderful indoor space, amenities, outdoor space, deck. well maintained and comes with many small touches (half and half, local wine, coffee ...). thanks Wayne. looking forward to coming back again.
A Perfect Getaway
We had a perfect weekend away at this wonderfully charming cabin. It's comfortable and down-to-earth with truly eye-popping scenery (the pics don't even do it justice), not to mention a very helpful and thoughtful host. The cabin itself is rustic and clean -- who needs fancy when surrounded by this much natural beauty (and great wine)? And the location can't be beat for a memorable weekend in Dry Creek. You're set among the old vines that produce some of the best Zinfandel in the world, a stone's throw from some of our favorite wineries and just minutes from downtown Healdsburg. Living in San Francisco, we're fortunate to get up to the wine country quite a bit, and this is our new favorite place to stay. Thank you, Wayne!
Breath taking views... a slice of heaven
The cabin and location is absolutely perfect. Exceeded all expectations. Once we arrived there was no reason to venture out. Full kitchen and grill on the deck. What a lovely/relaxing weekend. We will definitely re-visit. Thank you Rogers family!
We should have stayed longer...
My wife and I celebrated a little time away at the Rogers Cabin. My only regret is that we didn't stay longer. When booking this cabin, we noticed the great scenery and secluded nature from the pictures - if anything they don't do the cabin justice. From the second we arrived, it felt like a restorative experience. In fact, after a couple days of wine tasting - we were ready to just sit on the deck and found it a great way to disconnect and just relax.
There is nothing fancy about the interior - no WOLF appliance here - no granite countertops...but a feeling that the owners sincerely set out to make their guests stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.
No Noise Nirvana
This idyllic cabin is a serene as you can get. If you'd like to find peace among the natural world, just book it. Even the owners are wonderful.
Location is prime for bicycle enthusiasts, oenophiles, foodies, and people seeking a quiet back-to-nature respite from their daily routines. Stunning property with gorgeous views and "home away from home."
