We call this property Dolphin Watch One. Watch carefully from the balcony and you'll see dolpins playing in the surf. If you're in or on the water, they'll sometimes come within a few feet to get a better look at you.
Dolphin Watch One is new to the vacation rental market with all new furnishings, towels and linens. Nearly everything has been updated and/or reconditioned and its clean, clean, clean.
Cleaning staff is available seven days a week for an additional charge. We also have three different handy/maintenance men on call should you need them during your stay. Twenty four hour gatehouse and security, too.
After evaluating dozens of beachfront units in Florida, Sharon and I have determined that this floor plan works the best for either long or short stays with direct Gulf views and beach access.
Sand Key is a great place to vacation ANY time of the year. The average high during the hotest season is 90F with Gulf breezes, the surf and a refreshing pool to keep you cool (air conditioning too of course). Average temperatures in the depths of winter are only about 35F cooler. Clear skies and Florida sunshine keep you nice and warm all day long. It is highly unlikely that you will ever need to turn on the heat even at night.
Lighthouse Towers is the only highrise development we know of on Sand Key that has full sun on the pool area ALL DAY LONG .
--Huge master bedroom with 12 foot wide floor to ceiling sliding glass doors that open to your private balcony overlooking the Gulf of Mexico; incredibly comfortable king size bed; flat panel TV; Cable; blue ray player; generous walk-in closet and an abundance of dresser drawers. The gel-foam mattress feels like you're sleeping on a cloud.
--Master bath with twin sinks; Separate shower and a Roman tub with a wonderful view of the Gulf
--Guest bedroom with incredibly comfortable queen-size bed; walk-in closet; reading area and exciting harbor/intercoastal views

--Gathering room (living/dining) has a large flat panel TV; blue ray player; 12 foot wide floor to ceiling sliding glass doors that open to a fully furnished balcony and wonderful views of the Gulf and the most spectacular sunsets you'll see anywhere.
--Warm yourself in the morning sun and enjoy a cup of coffee on the East (harbor-side) balcony. At the end of the day open a nice bottle of wine and enjoy incredible sunsets with wonderful Gulf breezes on our West (Gulf-side) balcony.
Not much need for a car since the trolly on Gulf Blvd runs about every 10-15 minutes. It will take you south about 20 miles to St. Pete Beach; north to Clearwater Beach and over to downtown Clearwater. Plenty of fine restuarants; attractions and shopping all along the way (a Supermarket too!)
There is always something going on... music festivals; baseball; off shore racing; grand prix; live theater; sea turtles nesting*; sea turtles hatching*; dolphins playing*; volleyball*; tournaments; excursions; jet ski; sailing*; regattas*; kayaking; pirate ship; para-sailing*; surfing*; windsurfing*; kite-surfing*; shopping and much much more. (*very entertaining and visible from the western balcony)
Yes, we would make every effort to accommodate any cancellation if and when it becomes necessary. We have never yet had a cancellation, but in the event that we did it would be on a case by case basis. Depending on the timing and nature of the cancellation, we would honor (but cannot guarantee) a refund. There is a minimum cancellation charge of $150 to cover the cost of fees and expenses we may incur.

The photos and description of Dolphin Watch 1 tell the whole story of this condo. Steve and I had a wonderful time walking on the beach,watching the beautiful sunsets from our balcony,enjoying the warm Florida sunshine and just taking time to relax. We enjoyed Maggie Mae',Backwater's Grill and Pub,Guppy's and numerous other restaurants as well. We also enjoyed watching the Dolphins play behind the Screamer boat from our balcony. We did some exploring in Clearwater around Pier 60,as well as the John's Pass area and St. Petersburg. We will be returning next year in April for the whole month and plan on expanding our horizons!! Fun! Fun! Fun! Unfortunately we did have some cleaning issues upon arrival,however we addressed the issues with Lee and he took care of the situation immediately with new cleaning personnel. I am confident they will continue to do a wonderful job. Lee was very apologetic and also sent a beautiful basket of flowers to our condo the same day. Thank-you once again Lee and Sharon for sharing this beautiful home away from home with us!! A wonderful two week stay for this snow bird. The accommodations were spectacular. This condo is contemporary and comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed the fully equipped kitchen and everything being sparkling clean. We enjoyed our morning coffee and early evenings on the balcony overlooking the beach. The beautiful guest room as well as master suite with walk out to the balcony felt luxurious and soothing. Great, easy access to restaurants, clubs, shopping and grocery stores. Wonderful gulf and ocean views. Best of all was watching the dolphins with thanks to the owners for the telescope for up close viewing. Walking the beach and listening to the surf in December is amazing.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

My wife and I had a great vacation in your 5 star condo on the Gulf of Mexico. It was everything advertised and more. We found it clean and spacious with a breath-taking view from the large balcony. A lot of attention and care have gone into this condo.The close location to the ocean, restaurants, shopping and grocery stores was ideal for vacationers. I would highly recommend this condo to anyone seeking a super, sunny holiday in Florida.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

A beautifully decorated modern condominium with all the comforts of home and great views. A large balcony over looking the beach and gulf coast. Perfect for viewing the passing dolphins as they travel up and down the coast. Close to downtown Clearwater and lots of fine dining. Let me just say I have been visiting different areas of Florida all my life and plan to make it my semi-permanent home one day. Sand Key has made it to the top of my list as a favorite spot. My husband and I loved spending the week here..It’s truly a little piece of paradise with all the comforts of home! So much to do and not enough time..The condo is beautiful and the location is wonderful the views of the gulf and the harbor and some of the best! The beach is just a few steps away and we enjoyed watching the dolphins play and taking those long walks in the morning is something I missed the moment we left. The pool is great too and the hot tub on a cool evening. Don't forget to go to the aquarium and see Winter from the Dolphin tale. We also enjoyed taking the Bikes for long rides up and down the key. I love seafood so we pretty much ate our way through the town, here are a few of my favorites. Backwater grill and Maggie Mae are both right across the street. Clearsky Cafe has the most delicious Maryland Crab eggs Benedict and Grouper sandwich, Crabby Bills all around good seafood dishes and nice entertainment on the patio :-) Clearwater Beach is awesome and is only few minutes away! Next trip we plan to go Wind surfing & kayaking. I can't wait to go back! Sitting in the comfort of the living space you felt like you were on the beach. Watching dolphins playing in the gulf, parasailers, surfers, and kite boarders is entertaining and relaxing. It's a perfect spot for long walks on the white, sandy beach and collecting the varied shells is fun. The ninth floor gives a spectacular view. This was a perfect vacation rental. The condo is beautifully furnished and decorated; even more lovely than the pictures! Everything you need is provided. Water views are spectacular. Large, beautiful beach and great pool and lounging areas. Excellent location for many activities and great restaurants. We particularly enjoyed meeting "Winter"and friends at the Clearwater Marine Aquarium. Winter is the star of the movie, "Dolphin Tale" which was filmed at the aquarium. What a wonderful time and the perfect spot for a girls weekend! Beautiful condo with gorgeous view. We cooked out by the pool, enjoyed the hot tub and took night time beachwalks...moon shadows. Beautifully decorated. Neat and clean. New furniture. Comfortable beds. Everything you need to cook. Awesome balcony with amazing sunsets every night. We loved that there was a view of the Gulf and a view of the Intercoastal. Gulf beach was amazing. Never crowded, private. Our two young kids loved playing in the tide pools after dinner. Relaxing pool area with barbeque area. Quick walk across the street to shops, restaurants, nail salon, ice cream shop. Quick drive over the bridge to Clearwater and lots of action. We look forward to vacationing again there next year.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.
