Don is an Associate Professor of Music at Moreno Valley College and a professional clarinetist. Josh is a well-known and widely respected member in the bar and restaurant industry having been in the profession for over 20 years. We also have a home in Palm Springs and love to travel and eat. Why the Owner Chose Los Angeles: Silver Lake has it all. It is one of the most diverse areas of Los Angeles. As you all probably know, LA is not really a 'walking' town. But this area of Sunset Junction is truly walkable....walkable to bars, restaurants, Farmers market, gym, pharmacy, dry cleaners, shops. We will always have a house in Silver Lake.
The Unique Benefits at this Cottage: The second we saw these houses, we knew they were for us. The former owner, Isaac, was a master carpenter and cabinet maker, and we (and now you!) can reap the benefits of his amazing handiwork. What he did with the interior is truly a model of how to utilize a small space into a fabulous living space. Everything is thought out from storage to convenience, from the beautiful hardwood floors, to the adorable blue tiles in the bathroom. The walk-in closet and built-in dresser in the master bedroom is a huge plus. Add to that a PRIVATE yard. There are few places in LA that can boast a private front yard with a dining terrace. It is also so quiet. You would never know that the 101 Freeway and Sunset Blvd. are seconds away.
