  This house has beautiful amenities with a great view of Tamarindo. Richard was really nice and welcoming and gave us great hints and tips of what to do in the Tamarindo area. You will probably want a car as the house is up a hill and would be a solid 15-20 minute walk into town or a quick 3 minute drive into town. The house itself is in excellent condition with all new appliances and a very nice outdoor patio and living space. Overall, great house and great town!

  We spent 10 days in your beautiful home, enjoying the trees, the fantastic view, the exotic birds, and the peaceful serenity. The house is quite large with bathrooms for every bedroom, and the construction is top quality. Even though it was hot during our stay, a quick dip in the pool and relaxing on the lounge chair on the deck made for the perfect afternoon. Everything was provided for our comfort, even maid service daily! The beach and wonderful restaurants were just 2 minutes away at the bottom of the hill. We would highly recommend your home for a quiet but luxurious vacation, with plenty of activities close by.

  My wife and another couple visited this property in February. Everything about our stay, the booking process, and Richard’s assistance with whatever we needed was fantastic. The house is a short walk (~10min) from town and secluded so you never have to worry about neighbors. While we were there, Richard got us a deal on golf, helped with fishing charter info, and suggested a couple great restaurants to try out. There was a house keeper that came twice during our stay which was great. She even helped with our laundry and cleaned up our dishes from breakfast. I would highly recommend staying here as it was a truly remarkable experience!

  My family and I stayed at the house for 5 days. The property had wonderful views looking over Tamarindo and the ocean, and was very private. The house was spacious, well appointed and very comfortable. The kids enjoyed the pool and hanging out on the deck. The owners were very friendly and very helpful with arrangements and advice for our stay. Wish we could have stayed longer!

  Our family spent the week of Christmas at this property. It was the perfect accomodation for the 6 of us. It is perched on a hill with gorgeous views of the ocean and the sunset and no other houses within view, yet it is a 2 min drive or a 10 min walk to downtown Tamarindo and the ocean. the road to the house is not paved but this did not pose any problems for the cars. We were awakened by monkeys in the morning! My husband and our 3 sons rented bicycles and went for early morning rides while my daughter and I lounged by the infinity pool. The pool is too small for swimming laps but perfect for taking a dip after a hike. The outdoor spaces and the patio are so inviting that we spent a lot of time relaxing and reading there. There is wireless access throughout the house. The kitchen is well equipped and the refrigerator was stocked with milk, yogourt, beer and wine when we arrived. A cleaning lady came twice for a thorough cleaning and even took care of laundry! The TV was functioning but we could not connect our electronics to it and were not able to stream movies, but hey, who wants to watch TV while in such a beautiful location? The icing on the cake was the owner himself. Richard lives in the area, and he made himself available at short notice for anything from answering questions about the area activities to joining us on excursions to other beaches and coaching our sons for surfing. He even offered to cook for us on the outdoor grill although we did not take him up on it. The most difficult part was leaving the house!

  Truly an outstanding place. Beautifully designed, beautifully maintained, and the views are breathtaking. I'm so glad we went this route rather than a traditional hotel. The owners were courteous, responsive and very helpful. The place was thoroughly cleaned with fresh linens left out for us upon arrival. This was exactly the type of place I hope to find when I search for properties on this site. I would stay there again without hesitation.
