  This listing could not be more spot on! Photos are almost as good as the apartment. Clean, clean, clean! Owners were wonderful, felt like family. Cannot recommend highly enough. Honestly, I thought I would not like New Orleans, I am not a city person, hate hotels. Thanks to this place, it was like getting to be a tourist and see the sights, but still go home at night and be comfortable. Everything one needs is there. My stepdaughters and I had a wonderful time in New Orleans, but doubt it would have been if stayed at a hotel. Thanks so much!

  I'm late in my review but we had such a wonderful stay I had to tell everyone. We got married in City Park and stayed here for three nights with two friends. The pictures don't do this place justice. It was so warm and welcoming. There were a lot of little extras like toothpaste, hair dryer, etc. They came in handy for a nervous bride trying to get ready for the big event. We had such a rough day getting our marriage license with all the construction downtown that we opted to skip getting a cake for our wedding. When we got there we were so surprised to see cake and flowers waiting for us! I can't say enough about this place. It was great and the owners really go above and beyond! Some have mentioned low ceilings. They are a little low but we had someone 6'8 and he just ducked through doors.

  My family and I stayed at the house for 2 weeks. We have young children and it was perfect for them. There were some cool days that they could not get out to the part but they got to go into the "hot pool" and they loved it. All the kitchen supplies were available which meant we did not have to go out for dinner. The grocery store is really close and the bayou was right there so I could go for a run. It was wonderful.

  I stayed here for almost 2 weeks. I was visiting my daughter in college for the holidays. This place was absolutely amazing the pictures were spot on. The owners were amazing, the welcoming gestures were so nice. Everything was within literally minutes away. This place has everything you can possibly need and yes the beds were incredibly comfortable. There are TV's in every room. I cooked almost every night we were there.(my daughter missed all mom's home cooked meals) All the pots, pans and even spices you can need. My daughter even enjoyed the hot tub. I would recommend this place to anyone. The owners were there to answer any questions I had. There were pamphlets and tour information packets there. I definitely will be staying here on my next visit.

  Bowdre and Naomi were such great hosts. They were always available in case we needed something. The home was STUNNING. The home isn't conducive to people over 6'. Low ceilings. Other than that, impeccable!!! I highly recommend you stay here!!

  All the other reviews are spot on - We loved our stay here and I really can't say enough great things about the house, the owners and the location. Everything was immaculately clean when we arrived and you can tell they really care about making your stay pleasant with all the nice touches they've placed around the house - a coffee maker, travel size toiletries in the bathroom in case you forgot anything, plenty of towels, free wireless internet with the password left in an easy to find location, a margarita machine, even a sweet welcome cake we received when we arrived, just to name a few of the many things the owners did to make this house feel even more like your own home away from home while you stay here. The home is decorated with a fun vibe to it that makes it feel that much more inviting, and there's even an almost-hidden oasis on the back porch with tons of great seating and even a hot tub! I came with a group of friends and none of us wanted to leave! Every one of us agreed that we'll be reaching out to stay here again when we return to New Orleans. Mid City (where this house is located) is such a great part of town and this house provides you with close access to anything and everything you could want to do or see in New Orleans. I visit friends who live here quite a bit, and I'm very glad to have found my new favorite place to stay! Can't wait to return, and couldn't give it a higher recommendation for anyone looking for a rental home in the city.

  We can not say enough about stay at this wonderful house. Extreem elegence! We were greeted with a nice welcome cake and an offer to be driven to pick up groceries even though we arrived late in the evening. The place was very clean and accomidating with everthing one could possibly need down to the Margarita Machine! we were given complete privacy during our stay. Nice neighborhood with a 3 min walk th the street car. ($1.25, 15 min ride downtown) Just far enough from down town to be quiet.We felt very secure at the suite. We give our highest recomendations to all and would not hesitate to book with the Bank's if we visit New Orleans Again. We love New Orleans!!

  We couldn't have been more pleased. A beautiful home with many amenities. The location was perfect, the neighborhood was quiet and the beds were very comfortable. We didn't want to leave. We would recommend this place to anyone traveling to New Orleans!

  I stayed here for a week with a couple of friends. The apartment was very nice. It was clean and well-kept and the decor was very unique and had a special personality, which made it more fun for me than staying in a hotel. Also, we all agreed that the beds were comfortable. Every appliance that you could want is there so you can save money by not eating out for every meal. The owners were also really nice to deal with and hospitable, it was clear that they put a lot of thought into helping people feel at home. The location of the apartment is good, a 2 minute walk to the Canal Street streetcar and in a good neighborhood. The only thing I would say is that this might not be the place for very tall people. I am 5'11'' and hit my head on the door frames a few times (if you're 6'6'' or taller, your head will probably touch the ceilings). Overall, we had a great time and I couldn't have wished for a nicer place or better hosts!

This is true only in the two small bedrooms; the rest of the apartment, with 7 foot ceilings, should adequately accommodate all but the tallest folks.   This lovely house in Mid-City is a cab's or short drive's distance from the best parts of the city. Excellent for those who want to experience New Orleans but also have a nice, quiet place to come home to at night. And an affordable one!!! The exterior of the house is very well-maintained, and the rental unit is immaculate. It was decorated with a thoughtful touch, and is both soothing/relaxing and laden with amenities: amazing refrigerator/freezer, cooking areas, HD televisions, etc. The owners are very friendly, accommodating, and non-intrusive. Our party of six was comfortable here, and everyone loved it above and beyond having a clean, cozy place to stay. And there is a hot tub!!
