Located minutes from the Winter Park ski area. A FREE SHUTTLE picks you up AT the property to transport you to the ski area so no worries about parking.
The room has a private hot tub and gas fireplace to help take the chill off after a day of skiing. This 2 bedroom has 2 twins in the guest room and a queen Select Comfort bed in the master bedroom. There are 2 full bathrooms and a fully stocked kitchen. Cable is provided in the master bedroom and living room with a DVD player in the living room. There is a deck off each condo.
We have a picnic area with a new gas grill. The clubhouse offers free laundry, free air hockey and bumper pool. Free board games and puzzles are also available. A vending machine is there for your convenience.
Located 82 miles from the Denver International Airport, 70 miles from downtown Denver and 50 miles from casinos. Shuttle services can be arranged with a local taxi service to and from the airport. There are car rental services here but renting at the airport would serve most guests best. If driving in snowy, mountain roads worries you, then call the taxi service. You'll be happy you did.
Just down the road from the condo is a full size Safeway grocery store to help stock up on your provisions for your vacation. If you don’t want to cook, Winter Park has many outstanding restaurants to meet any hunger needs.
If you enjoy Nordic skiing, Devils Thumb is 6 miles down the road or rent a pair of snowshoes or cross country skis and go on an adventure of your own. Snowmobile rentals are available by the hour, 1/2 day or full day. Snow tubing is a fun way to start the day or end it by tubing at night.
In the summer, Winter Park and the Fraser Valley is known for its 600+ miles of trails for mountain biking and hiking. A scenic hiking/bike path is located just behind the Safeway and it winds and curves its way to the town of Winter Park and ends at the base of the Winter Park Ski Area. For those more seasoned hikers you can take the day to hike Byers Peak, St Louis Lake or Columbine Lake.
The more adventurous may want to zip-line or take a hot air balloon ride or maybe go white water rafting. The 3000ft Alpine Slide at the Winter Park Resort is a fun way to spend a few hours as well as miniature golf, climbing walls, gyro machines and bungee jumping (on a trampoline) The younger kids (and sometimes the older kids) enjoy trying to master the maze.
Our newest addition to the valley is The Foundry, which houses 2 movie theaters and a bowling alley.
Other nearby attractions include Rocky Mountain National Park, the scenic Trail Ridge Road, Grand Lake, Lake Granby and Shadow Mountain Lake (for all your water sport needs) and Hot Sulphur Springs (hot mineral springs). Pole Creek golf course is a few miles down the road and has amazing views of the valley surrounding this public golf course.
You may want to come see us in the fall so you can enjoy the changing colors of the aspen. A trip to the 'Park' would result in seeing elk herds with big bulls bugling and fighting. An occasional moose can be seen and if you are lucky, you may spot a bear.

We had such a great time in Winter Park and Fraser. This was our first time in Fraser and we just loved how unique this little valley is. It isn't the sprawl of most ski resorts and that will keep us coming back for years to come. Indian Peaks is an exceptional resort. It is small, quiet and very clean. The units have a nice hot tub in them and the kitchen is stocked better than any other resort we have ever been to. The upkeep in the units shows that management cares what they are doing. Very nice units. No complaints here. Jon checked us in and was very informative about activities and restaurants in the area. He and Tammy were helpful and friendly. We highly recommend this property. You will not be disappointed.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
