  We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Pelican Grand Beach Resort and thought so much of the nice staff members whom work there. The room was very large and the beds were more than comfortable. We started and ended every day while sitting out on the veranda or balcony over looking the ocean. We look forward to returning next year. Thanks again ;)

  room accomdations were very nice and accommodating. Was disappointed in service for bar/porch. We told bartender/waiter we would be sitting on porch for cocktails if they could send someone over. my husband and I waited for a 1/2 hr with no service so left - on way out we commented to the server in bar our displeasure with no reaction - so we went to the property just north of the Pelican-small quaint restaurant/outside bar and got service immediately. Also waiter service on beach was minimal, we had to ask the beach attendant to please send someone over. Also found it ridiculous that we were charged $15 for a few extra towels. I would love to see a more friendly staff throughout the hotel-hellos or acknowledgement would be nice. On the positive, the valet service was very good and pool service was excellent -- loved the lazy river. We would rent again through owner-very nice.

  This is my daughters and her friend Tammy's senior year in college and were thrilled when they wanted us 4 to take a trip to Ft.Lauderdale. We were so happy with our vacation and the memories we created and were able to spend their final spring break with them. We stayed at the Pelican Grand Beach Resort and it felt as though we were somewhere in the tropics. The resort is right on the beach, with easy, convenient access from the pool area, only a few steps away. The resort's beach is beautiful and has a variety of activities to try from paddleboarding to parasailing. The owner Michael made several great suggestions for us and would immediately answer all of my inquiries immediately, several within 5 minutes. We could tell he is a very involved owner. We will be back.....

  We can not stay enough about our experience with our stay at the Pelican Grand and with the owner Michael. The hotel was sold out and oddly enough he had 2 openings for both nights we needed. Within 5 minutes our room was booked and we saved a ton of money compared to my sister whom paid the full hotel price while staying 4 floors below us. We will return and do recommend this unit.

  We just got home after a week at the Pelican Grand and could not be happier with our stay. We left NY and returned to freezing temperatures, but am so happy we were able to get out of the cold and into a bathing suit again. The water amenities were wonderful. The "owner" Mike had some great suggestions for us where to go out to dinner at and even gambling. We thought the room was great, the staff was so nice to everyone and the bartenders were absolutely wonderful. We hope to return with the grand-kids this summer or maybe next winter again for another week.... Highly recommend....

  We arrived at the Pelican Grand Beach Resort after a long drive from Sanford, Florida and was so taken back by the beautiful resort. Sitting out on the terrace and in our room and looking out at the ocean was just breath-taking. My husband really enjoy the room-service we ordered each morning. We thought the room was very clean and met our needs perfectly. The owner, Michael, was great about answering our questions and pointing out places for dinner outside the hotel. We look forward to returning very soon and staying longer...

  This unit was beautiful! It was exactly as advertised. The beds were very comfortable and the view was incredible. My daughter and I loved to watch the kite boarders from our balcony in the morning. The staff at the resort was very attentive and friendly. I would definitely recommend this property and hope to stay here again in the very near future!

  The Pelican Grand has a fantastic position overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and the great views are available throughout this entire wonderful hotel. Very large and clean rooms with extra comfy beds and really excellent staff. They are very kind and friendly and want to please the guests. I especially liked the white rocking chairs on the terrace off the reception area. The pool was wonderful and never overly busy which was nice. We really enjoyed our stay here and can happily this unit to all of our friends and family. We hope to return again very very soon....
