This charming three-bedroom house’s location is ideal. It’s an easy 5 minute walk to Main Street and 10 minute walk to Jetties Beach. The Madaket bike path, an NRTA bus stop, and the infamous Something Natural are all just down the road.

Relax in the peaceful and private backyard surrounded by hydrangea gardens and new dawn roses. In the morning, sit back in an Adirondack chair and enjoy your morning coffee while listening to birds chirping. At night, be mesmerized by the multitude of stars overhead. Fire up the grill and dine outdoors on the brick patio. After a day at the beach, clean up in the outside shower.

Inside, the well-equipped kitchen is sunny and open with a dining and sitting area perfect for entertaining. Also on the first floor are a powder room and a salon featuring antique maps and whaling artifacts, equipped with stereo, cable TV, and DVD player. On the second floor are three bright and cozy bedrooms, all with cable TV, and a full hall bathroom.

Gaze out the north facing windows to peek-a-boo water views, or look out to the inviting fenced-in backyard and conservation land beyond from the back of the house. Prepare to be pampered by luxurious towels, guest toiletries, and 400 thread count sheets. Antique wide plank pine floors are featured throughout the house. The finished walk-out basement has a large full bath (S/T), and living room with sleep sofa, a flat screen home theater system, and laundry room.

  • Stayed at the Cliff Street House for Mother's Day weekend. It is a fabulous house, so conveniently located to the wonderful shops and restaurants in town, not to mention the beautiful garden area perfect for afternoon cocktails. The Island is a wonderful retreat beautiful Ocean views and walks, cannot wait to go back.

  • We stayed at Cliff Road for a long weekend in May with 6 adults. We loved the location to town, very easy walking; this historic house is spotless, welcoming and well appointed. The rooms are large and roomy to gather together comfortably, yet cozy and intimate. It is furnished to a high standard, with with everything needed to relax and enjoy the experience. We enjoyed your artwork, books and games too. We can't wait to return to our new home away from home in Nantucket. We loved it!   • Each time I stay at your lovely home I feel as if it's mine. I putter in your garden and cook in your well- appointed kitchen. In fact, your kitchen is so cozy, my friends and I tend to sit in our pajamas far too long. And there is so much to do and see on Nantucket. Thanksgiving was heavenly! My puppy really appreciated getting to come along with me, and we loved walking along Steps Beach. We met many friendly neighbors on the way. Tho we forgot to count the 274 steps to American Seasons, we loved having dinner there and walking around the neighborhood afterward. Your home is so perfectly located we didn't need a car. I'll be back next season with more friends and family.

  • We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at 22 Cliff! The house is perfectly situated for easy walks into town, to Children's Beach and, our favorite -- evening walks to Brant Point. As experienced Nantucket renters, we were very pleasantly surprised at the home's attributes: nicely equipped modern kitchen, beautifully landscaped, private backyard, and comfortable, clean furnishings. We especially appreciated having the lower level family room with plasma TV and surround sound ... since we had a lot of rain!! Other nice ammenities: wireless internet, games and bikes ... Frank and Cricket were very helpful and generous hosts. We highly recommend 22 Cliff Road!

  • Most people would think I am biased because I’m your brother, but that’s not the case. The few nights I stayed with you and your wife in Nantucket were amazing. It was the first time I was able to relax in a long time. Your house was a perfect place to call home since it’s so close to town, beach and is really homey. I also loved it because I have allergies/asthma and they didn’t act up. To show my appreciation I made a 2 minute home video of our trip (it takes about 2 minutes to download using high speed).   • What more could we ask for!! With a short walk to all of the sites and sounds of historic Nantucket as well as pristine beaches, meandering bike paths and the best restaurants Nantucket has to offer, this historic Cliff Road home provided the perfect setting for our 2-week summer vacation. Because this home is situated in the heart of "Cliff Road", it provided ample opportunity for us to walk to several beaches, visit historic sites and enjoy Nantucket dining at its best followed by a casual walk home in the evening. It truly was a picture perfect Nantucket beachhouse that offered all of the charm of island living with all of the modern amenities and comforts that made our vactation a memory that will last a lifetime---or at least until we return next year!! Also, being a "pet friendly" home was important to us as we were able to enjoy a family getaway with our yellow lab Ginger--who loved playing in the backyard and walking to the beach with us each evening for a sunset swim. We were pleasantly surprised to see that this home left not a trace of any aspects of prior rentals with pets that one may expect. As wonderful as the location was, we were more than pleased at how clean and well maintained the home was - furnished with all of the household items needed to enjoy relaxing evenings cooking on the grille or sampling cocktails in the backyard. Our rental experiences elsewhere on island don't compare with the courteous and attentive care Frank,the homeowner, showed our family before, during and after our stay. He treated us as welcome guests using his home, and went out of his way to ensure our enjoyment. We look forward to returning each summer for our family vacation!! On a scale of 1-10... we give it a 10++
