When you park your vehicle, you truly DO NOT have to get in it again unless you want to leave our lovely town.....you walk to get coffee in the morning at several coffee spots, or walk to breakfast..and then you walk to the beach, pool, tennis, later, walk to lunch, and then cocktails, and dinner and walk to the ice cream store.................just like being in your own small town............FABULOUS place for kids to roam, just like the old days.

WE are NOT pet friendly.....please don't ask, the answer will always be no....there are so many people with allergies that we do not allow those guests to be uncomfortable ...........so once again NO PETS of any size or shape.....

The"TRUMAN SHOW" staring Jim Carey, took place and was filmed in Seaside.
You will find this to be the quaint and picture perfect community. When you walk down our stairs, you can stop by Heavenly's Ice Cream STore, or Great Southern Cafe on your way to Modika's Market to pick up your grocery supplies. In the evening, you can walk down our stairs and head to Rendevous for sushi, a glass of wine and
crepes or step across the street and visit Bud & Alleys for a gourmet meal, or a view of the sunset across the Gulf of Mexico.
After a day at the beach, which is just steps from our stairs, you can walk along the adorable pedestrian friendly community and shop
in the art galleries, or toy store, or jewelry stores that line our streets in this EUROPEAN STYLE community.

Toy and Art Shop in the heart of the artist colony called Ruskin
I have a second APARTMENT (which COUPLES LOVE rented separately for an additional rate...or I can open to the picasso moon and have a large 3 bedroom unit)....it is called
PICASSO SUN, a one bedroom with queen bed, full bath and a
living/dining ...sofa sleeper...area with an efficiency kitchen, AND
this can be viewed on vrbo and the number is 62322.

WE try to keep the rates reasonable enough to balance between paying for our dream and allowing others to enjoy and Seaside is a special place that once you arrive, you will want to come back time and time again.

You walk out the front door to shops and resturants and right now, I am hearing the Chapel chime 11:00 . You hear the bells and the noises of this fabulous community, almost like you are living and enjoying a small European city by the sea.

We have recently returned from a wonderful spring break visit to the Picasso Moon. It was everything we hoped for. The location is what really makes this condo special -- right in the heart of the Seaside! We loved sitting on the wonderful appointed balcony and people watching as people strolled below. It was an easy, quick stroll to the beach, shops, and dining.

We had an absolute great time at Picasso Moon! The kids said this is the best place EVER! The chalkboards were right up their alley, there were plenty of games available and the bed swing on the balcony was just the best. I was a little worried when I booked that the location would be noisy, considering how close we were to the central part of Seaside, but even during the busiest times, it was still quiet and serene. I also wasn't sure about not being beach front, but after 10 minutes here, I didn't miss it at all. We were so close to everything and the beach was only a short walk away. My husband and I even enjoyed a very nice dinner at Fish Out of Water thanks to Nanny Penny's Babysitting Service. Thanks for a great Thanksgiving weekend. We can't wait to come back!

I just returned from the Picasso Moon and wish I was there now! Bert was the nicest, most helpful person I have ever dealt with. Even when my husband and I were concerned with the oil spill, she assured us there was no reason to even give us a discount...we didn't want one after seeing how fabulous and quaint it was! That's saying alot for how much fun we had there!!! The location is way better than I even thought it could be, and I have walked through Seaside dozens of times on every street. We had another couple join us unexpectedly and had a ball. The fun artwork and great porch with swing bed were so neat and fun, it had a feel like nowhere else. We will go back there...guaranteed. It was super clean and well stocked, and the location to everything was unbelievable. We walked two minutes each morning to get breakfast at Modica Market and the roof top was the best view ever. Bert was willing to be there for any questions, which was great to know also.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

March of 09 We enjoyed our 2nd "PIcasso Moon" getaway! The spring weather was perfect and provided excellent opportunities to bike, swim & kayak. We'll be back again soon John, Kelly & Claire Tupelo, Ms.
