Our condo is located on the slope side of the Axtel condominiums which is the closest building to the Silver Queen and Red Lady Express lifts. You are centrally located to the lifts, shops, restaurants and the ski school. If you have kids, we can provide you with contact information for a great sitter that we have been using for the past nine years.
Our condo has three bedrooms and two full baths. The living room and master bedroom open up to a large deck overlooking the ski lifts with incredible views. The master bedroom is located on the main floor and has a king size bed. The other two bedrooms are located upstairs. The second bedroom has a twin over queen bunk bed and the third bedroom has two twin beds. There are common laundry facilities and a shared hot tub on the ground floor of the building.

Ultimate ski-in ski-out experience

Four of us spent 4 nights and 3 days in this 3 bedroom condo during January. The convenience of having two express ski lifts directly below our balcony exceeded anything we could have imagined and led to the most enjoyable ski experiences of our lives. One lift served a group of varied and fun green trails for the less experienced skier and the other lift provided many opportunities for the more advanced. The ski storage closet on the ground floor was extremely useful. We were able to buy our lift tickets on the bottom floor of our three story building and walked less than twenty yards for our first ride of the day. The bedrooms were spacious and versatile in accomodating either adults or children. There were sufficient dressers and closet space. Each bedroom provided adequate sanctuary and had it's own television with cable hookup. There is a smallish bathroom on each of the two floors but they certainly met our needs. A spacious balcony with plenty of seating provides a breathtaking view of the mountain. On most days, if affords you a full-face of warm sun if you choose to take a lunch break there. It is also well stocked with firewood if you plan to take advantage of the cozy fireplace in the living area. While there is a comfortable leather couch to relax on in front of the fire, the living area is not well suited for large gatherings. If your group contains more than four, you should probabaly plan to spend your evenings in the town of Crested Butte or visit some of the fun restaurants on the mountain. You can tell that the owners are proud of their great property and have gone to great lengths to provide the condo with amenities that you will appreciate. There are modern appliances and useful smaller items like a toaster oven, microwave and blender. If your main purpose is to be active and near the slopes, this property would be the perfect choice for a group of 4-6 people. If you don't make it out this year, make your reservation early next year, as you'll have to compete with my group, which is already talking about a return visit.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, age 55+.
