Once you visit, YOU WON'T WANT TO LEAVE!! Beautiful 2-story mountain home with 180 degree view overlooking the picturesque Great Smoky Mountains has it all! Enjoy the tranquility of the North Carolina mountains from your wrap-around upper and lower decks while watching the sun set over the Smoky Mountains. Only 15 minutes from everything!
Spend your days hiking the Appalachian Trail, touring Fontana Dam, visiting local street festivals and fairs, driving the Tail of the Dragon, White Water Rafting the Nantahala, Tubing Deep Creek, Cherokee Indian Village, or enjoying the National Forests. The mountains come alive at night with local outdoor shows, gambling in Cherokee, "Unto These Hills" outdoor theatre, or enjoying the diversity of local cuisine. For the motorcycle enthusiast, we are only 15 minutes from Deals Gap and Tail of the Dragon!
This "cabin", with 10 foot soaring ceilings, was built in 2004 and is loaded with amenities for our guests enjoyment. 1,260 square feet of air-conditioned and heated living space upstairs with a large Master Bedroom, Guest Bedroom and large bathroom.
The open floor plan of the house is very welcoming with ample room for family gatherings around the gas fireplace in the evenings. In addition to the two upstairs bedrooms, the house has a pull-out sleeper-sofa which accommodates two people, an additional sofa, and lots of comfortable seating!
The large living room is surrounded by windows and has an Entertainment Center with large tv, stereo, DVD player and gas fireplace. Plenty of board games games are provided to entertain the children!
Full-service kitchen has breakfast bar with 2 chairs,full size refrigerator, electric stove, single oven, microwave, dishes, pots, pans, coffee pot, blender, and utensils - you supply the food! Dining Room table seats 6.
The downstairs has 1 bedroom, living room, bathroom, wood burning stove and kitchenette complete with microwave, mini refrigerator, coffee maker, and sink - perfect for early risers!
Garage on lower level has washer/dryer and room for one car and several motorcycles, atv's, storage, etc. Plenty of parking for all your guests. Fully accessible year-round, the access road and driveway are asphalt and rock so 4-wheel drive is not necessary!
Robbinsville, 15 minutes away, provides a full grocery story, pharmacy, vegetable market, restaurants and local stores.

Why the Owner Chose Robbinsville
We have been coming to the mountains of North Georgia and Western Carolina since I was in High School and vowed one day to have a place of our own! We have enjoyed all of the local bluegrass hoe downs, Stecoah Valley Center performances, mountain fairs and celebrations and especially the friendly people of North Carolina! The pristine weather keeps us coming back for summer fun, the beautiful fall seasonal change and sometimes snow in the winter!
The Unique Benefits at this Cabin
Enjoying an early cup of coffee on our deck while watching the Hummingbirds feed is the perfect way to start off the day! We love looking at the distant mountains, watching the sunset and listening to all of the mountain sounds! We spend lots of time at Lake Fontana with our 3 boys visiting waterfalls, rock jumping, tubing, picnicing and camping. White water rafting is a must just 20 minutes away!
Just a 10 minute drive to this glorious 10,000 acre lake with water activities galore!
Awesome white water rafting for children and adults just 20 minutes away!

Originally from Florida my husband and I spend as much time in North Carolina as our schedule permits! With four children, we are constantly on the move enjoying all outdoor activities - especially water-related! Rafting is a favorite for all of us and we go so frequently that we finally bought our own raft!
