Ten minutes walk or three minutes drive are taking you down to the prestigious white sand beach of Orient Bay, a very long (three kilometers/two miles) and magnificent arc of crystal-clear water (voted for the third time in a row the best beach in the Caribbean by the readers of "Caribbean Travel and Life" with numerous dining spots, beach shops and water sports (including sailing and windsurfing).
Orient Beach is undoubtedly one of the most magnificent and talked about beaches in the Caribbean, proudly boasting its title of the 'Saint Tropez of the Caribbean' and many compare Orient Bay to the French Riviera with its pampering services and ambiance.
The constant cooling trade winds (called the 'alizes' in French) and light wave action provide excellent swimming, snorkelling and sailing conditions.

I can't say enough good things about the place in Les Jardins. The pictures are exactly as the place appears. The villa is high in the hillside. Our host has very helpful with the entire process of renting and explaining the home and area to us. The home was our home for almost two weeks and every day and night it was our respite and solace. The peaceful pool overlooking the Orient bay toward Pinel was outstanding as well as the terrace. We spent every morning and night there, eating breakfast, discussing the plans of the day, returning to relax and drink wine in the late evening. The villa's bedrooms are at each end of the villa and are very private, appointed with king beds and each with its own bathroom. There is also a room with a crib and bunks although we didn't need these. The kitchen is well appointed and the internet was reliable amd fast. The home is just a short 3 min drive to Orient Bay and maybe a 5-10 min drive from Grand Case, Marigot at maybe 20 min. depending on traffic. I can highly reccommend this place. It worked out perfectly for us and the other couple with us. It was quiet, private, well-appointed and peaceful. It was our home away from home and we hope to return next year. Thank-you Stephane for letting us stay in your amazing place!

Exactly as the photos on the website described, this home with breathtaking views of Orient Bay was an ideal home for a family vacation. With four children we were able to have the two girls share the one room with the queen and the boys in the other with the bunks. My wife and I shared the master suite and we had one room (a separate suite on the lower level) left vacant. We spent most days half on the beach and half at the house outside by the pool. You will need to rent a vehicle but with that getting around is very easy. Five minutes down the hill to the beach at Orient Bay, another five minutes down the road is a grocery store and five minutes from that and you are in Grand Case, a culinary hot bed of great restaurants. We will definitely be considering a return visit to this property... maybe next time with two couples as this property would be ideal for that as well.
