Come enjoy this relaxing home that sits just a few feet away from the shores of beautiful Lake Murray, which provides for a wonderful view from your huge window filled living room or from your jetted tub in the lake-side bathroom. You can enjoy the lake view while you also enjoy your favorite TV show, ballgame, or movie on the 52" flatscreen plasma television with satellite TV, DVD, and VCR.
The house is located on a quiet cove and comes with FREE use of a canoe and a paddleboat for the entire week, which can be kept on your private dock. The dock has electricity by the shore so that you can charge your boat batteries easily. There is a marina two blocks away where you can put your own boat in. We also have a Bennington 20ft pontoon boat that can be rented with the house for an aditional fee of $695/week and can be at the dock when you arrive if you chose. The Bennington pontoon boat has a Bimini top, life jackets, pole holders, cd player, live well, pop-up changing room and 90hp Yamaha motor.
The house is about three miles from Dreher Island State Park so it is perfect for fishing tournaments or family reunions and is only 20-25 minutes from food, shopping, and entertainment galore at Columbiana Centre (mall) and Harbison Boulevard in Irmo, and 25 minutes to Riverbank Zoo. It's also great for USC football games (40 min), and is only about an hour and a half away from the Masters in Augusta or the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. The beautiful beaches of Charleston are only about 2 hours away. The house is also only about 45 minutes from Fort Jackson and is great for graduations or just to visit your favorite soldier!
The main lake-side living room has a huge L-shaped couch and two recliners and can seat everyone comfortably. The view from that couch will make you not want to move all week! There is a second living room area attached to the open dining area.
There are three separate bedrooms at the house (double, double, queen beds, 1 per room). There is also a sleeper sofa in the lake side living room and a futton in the second living room, so 5 total beds). That room has blinds to seperate it from the rest of the house, so it could be a 4th bedroom. There is a kitchen with everything you need: full-size refrigerator, dishwasher, stove/oven, microwave, coffee pot, blender, dishes, silverware etc; and a separate washer/dryer room. The linens for the house are also provided.
Lake Murray is known as one of the best bass fishing lakes in the country. The lake is forty-one miles long and, in places, over fourteen miles wide. It has over 500 miles of shoreline, and forms an impoundment of over 50,000 acres.

This home is the prefect spot for a family gathering. It's location is perfect for a family to spend quality time together without distractions and the go go life that most people live. The property is as pictured, lots of space and right on the lake. Working with the property owner was very easy and gave very good directions to te propety and to the larger shopping areas and attractions. Would recommend to anyone and rent again.

We had a great time. We loved having the extra room, so the kids could play video games while my husband and I watched TV in living room. We had everything we needed. The fishing and boating were wonderful.

The house and lake were wonderful. My family and I spent a very relaxing weekend on the dock and in front the television. Thank you! I will absolutely rent this again. We are already making plans.

My husband and I, two children, grandparents, aunt and uncle all stayed in this house and had a great time. We would recommend it to friends. The only suggestion we may have would be to update the pillows in the bedrooms - they were kind of hard. Our daughter enjoyed feeding the fish and the turtles off the dock. Customer service was great, property was clean and well-maintained. Perfect spot on the lake to enjoy tubing,skiing, kneeboarding,or just boating.
