  "Our stay at Les Plaines was more than we ever could ask for, we would like to recommend the house and property to everyone, both its stunning location and its fantastic views over the Luberon valley area from the top of the hills in Murs. The house comforted every option, with nice beds, bathrooms, kitchen, living rooms and outside spaces. The very nice heated pool, nested between beautiful gardens, was just stunning. Pre and during our stay, Beverly organized everything for us in the most professional way and her committed engagement to make us all comfortable made our planning and stay even better. We hope to return to Les Plaines or one of the other beautiful homes in the area in the future. Also great thanks to the house owners that have made their property available with all its beauty and comfort. Les Plaines is a hidden gem, do not hesitate a second to take on a trip to this fantastic area both for biking, hiking and recreation holidays in Provence and all the beautiful cities nested around the area". I would also like to bring you the best regards from my travel companions, we all shared a wonderful time and enjoyed a lot of fun, food and wine on top of activity and local visits in the area. with all best wishes, Odd Arne

  Dear Beverly, Thankyou _ we had the most wonderful holiday, due in no small part to the lovely house. It was warm and cosy yet spacious enough for all of us, and everything we needed was easy to find in the house. Your chocolates and wine were very much appreciated thankyou, and the firewood was very welcome. We enjoyed visiting the local weekly markets and found the friendliness of the local store-owner so welcoming. Her baguettes and pain au chocolat are to die for!! We would love to return someday!   Ours was a multi-family stay at Les Plaines and we are all still raving about it. The house was lovely, and the view was spectacular. It was so relaxing to sit in the shade, read a book, and look at the view of the valley. The kids loved the pool. The location was very convenient; you could easily spend the days visiting the nearby towns. A really top-notch stay.

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, romantic getaway.

  Hi Beverly, Thanks so much for setting up Les Plaines for us. The house is lovely and was really comfortable for our family. We enjoyed the stunning views from the back patio every evening, winding down each day with a drink and BBQ gorgeous The kitchen is well equipped, beds cosy and everything in good working order. The location is fabulous, within easy reach of several unique villages and sights Gordes, Roussillon, Ocre Footpath, Ocre mine, Grottes de Thouzon and the cliffs at Lioux. We also managed to explore some of the surrounding hiking trails, only got lost once The tiny grocery store in Murs is a 3minute walk and had fresh baguettes every morning.   My family (3 adults, 3 young children) stayed at this wonderful home in late June/early July 2012. We had a splendid time. Beverly was lovely to work with and made sure our stay was comfortable and smooth. We arrived on a very hot day in Provence with three cranky, car-sick kids, and the second we stepped into Les Plaines and saw the view, the grounds, and the pool, we felt our spirits lift. We loved everything about this villa – the spacious floorplan, the sweeping views of the Luberon, the well-stocked kitchen, and of course the gorgeous pool! This location was perfect for exploring the charming towns and markets of the Luberon. Even with a 7 year old, a 4 year old, and a newborn, we managed to see a lot – Les Baux, Gordes, Bonnieux, Roussillon, and Menerbes to name a few. A small circus passed through the nearby town of Murs during our stay – an unexpected delight for our family. We highly recommend Les Plaines to anyone visiting Provence, and we genuinely hope to return one day.

  Les Plaines was an excellent choice for our 2 week family reunion. The rustic exterior belies a thoroughly modern interior with all the conveniences of a well appointed residence. The secluded swimming pool, the breathtaking views of the Luberon and the overall ambience of the place simply must be experienced to be fully appreciated. The well stocked local convenience store where we went daily for bread, pastries, etc treated us like locals. Beverly was extremely attentive and helpful before and throughout our visit. We left Les Plaines reluctantly and we would return in a heartbeat!

  Dear Beverly, We had great vacation and had a safe trip back. This is the place you want to take a family vacation! The house is great, well equipped , clean and located in the best possible place. Murs is a beautiful little town in the middle of the Lavender country. We took day trips to several attractions and the central location of the house allow us to return on time and still enjoy the gorgeous private pool. Beverly was always there to help and advise!   We, a family of four adults and two children, have just returned from two weeks at Les Plaines. If you read all the positive reviews and tripple the reponses, you will have a very good notion of the house. Any negative reviews should be resolutely disregarded. The house is large, commodius and works well for a group. There are spaces for everyone to have privacy to read, to sun or swim. It is a great retreat after a full day of investigating all the coutryside around. Cheers to Beverly!!

  If you are looking for a spacious home with the most GORGEOUS view, look no further. We are a family of four that rented this lovely home in May of 2011. Although we knew the home would have too many bedrooms for us, both the view and the pool attracted us to rent. We were not disappointed in any way at all! In fact, the pool was so nice, it was difficult to leave to go site seeing. My husband and I loved sitting on the porch with a glass of wine, just taking in the view. The home is located in the very small town of Murs, which is very close to Gordes. You will definitely need a car to get around for site seeing. We enjoyed Gordes, Avignon, St. Remy, Les Baux, and an overnight stay to Carcassonne and the Cathar castles - Queribus and Peyrepertuse. A very long drive, but highly recommended (not with small children). Beverly was absolutely wonderful to work with from beginning to end. If we needed anything, she was there to help us. I only hope our paths will cross again in life because we did not have enough time to get to know each other more. The house was very clean and fresh flowers were right outside our window sills. We were welcomed with a bottle of local wine and chocolates to help celebrate our 30th anniversary. I would highly recommend this property. Our two older children were traveling with us, ages 23 and 19 years old, and although there is not much night life here, we all enjoyed ourselves immensely!

  Hi Beverly, I just wanted to write a quick note to say thank you so much! The week was amazing! The house was so wonderful. Thank you so much for heating the pool. Even though the weather was not so great, we were able to swim everyday with our 3 year old. Even our 11 month old swam in the rain! The house was perfect for the two families. The toys at the house were awesome for the kids because they always love new toys (even though we brought some too). The chef Cosette was wonderful and Natalie was great too. It was the trip of a lifetime! Thanks again! Chaise and family
