‘Miles Away’ is where family memories are made and golf can be played. Professionally decorated and fully furnished, this immaculate, private lake front home of over 4200 square feet, has a spectacular view across the main lake. No hills and no coves!
Located on three acres and nestled among large trees, the flat grassy landscaped lot lends itself to a game of football, softball, croquet, horse shoes, or chipping golf balls. There is 300 feet of gorgeous and pristine main lake shoreline with a private beach area and max vinyl dock with boat slip and party deck, perfect for swimming, fishing, sun bathing or watching one of our exquisite sunsets.
This million dollar, executive-style home offers a large, extensively equipped, gourmet kitchen, complete with granite countertops and island, allowing you to cook while enjoying the company of family and friends. A warm, gracious family room is a great lake front sitting area and invites you to enjoy the wood-burning fireplace while reading, watching a movie, or playing a game--a variety of books, CDs, movies, puzzles and games are included.
The first floor master bedroom, with lake views, has a queen size canopy bed, walk-in California closet and luxurious marble bath with seperate walk-in shower. Upstairs are three roomy bedrooms (one with private bath) with queen-size beds. Another full bath is located in the upstairs hall.
The large bonus room is a wonderful play area--complete with toys and a game table; or makes a great retreat for the kids to throw down sleeping bags or air mattresses and "camp out." A queen-size sleeper sofa is located in the downstairs den, which also provides a separate TV/game area (including a Sony Playstation 2) for the kids.
LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION--"Miles Away" provides both serene privacy and ultimate convenience; nearby are restaurants, groceries, spa and gym facilities, golf courses, marinas, gas stations and a variety of shopping.
During spring and summer, bring your boat or Jet Ski--our boat may be available under special arrangements; or rent one at a nearby marina. Taking a shoreline cruise is a wonderful way to see the outdoor paradise and ever changing scenery of Lake Oconee and keep you intrigued for hours.
During the fall, which offers a colorful display with the leaves changing, enjoy the patio and firepit--great for conversing and making s'mores with family. "Escape" for the weekend during the winter months, which are always warm and inviting for holiday gatherings, quality family time and game playing, or a romantic getaway.

GOLF INFORMATION:
Play golf every day! HARBOR CLUB, designed by the team that Golf Digest has recognized as the premier course architects in the world, Tom Weiskopf and Jay Morrish, was nominated as the "Best New Private Course" in the country when it opened in 1991 and continues to merit national attention. The course encounters Lake Oconee six times, skirts four creeks and many interior lakes along with rolling terrain and elevation change and challenges golfers of any level with its multiple tee design. Each hole has at least four tees and the course measures from 5159 yards to 7048 yards. Greens are A1 Bent grass the fairways and roughs are Bermuda Grass. Around $95 pp.
CUSCOWILLA golf course opened in 1997. With 700 acres of gently rolling property characterized with towering pines and expansive fields of native Bluestein grasses, Coore and Crenshaw took full advantage of this uniquely suited site to lay out 18 holes of golf that lazily yet purposefully wind their way through this spectacular property. The holes build upon themselves as you make your round, with each one demanding thought as well as execution with every stroke. In 2006 and 2007 "Golfweek" rated it as having the No. 2 Best Residential Golf Course in America as well as in 2005 rating it among the top fifteen of America's Best Golf Courses Built since 1960. "GOLF" magazine ranked the course at No. 22 on the list of Top 100 Courses in America you can play and "Golf Digest's" 2005 list of America's 100 Greatest Public Courses slotted it No. 61. REYNOLD'S LANDING, Bob Cupp's masterpiece, was the first golf course built on Lake Oconee. It is a prime golf destination and was one of Georgia's greatest golf courses when it debuted, second only to Augusta National. It features a variety of holes winding through natural wooded areas and rolling hills, making the course enjoyable for all levels of golfers. Three of the holes wind along the Lake Oconee shoreline and the green settings and shot values truly make it one of the premium tests of golf on the lake.
