Our calendar is almost full for the summer. But there are still a bunch of weekends available, which we are offering for only $475 (and no cleaning fee) between now and the end of September.

Here's more information about the house:
Only a couple of miles from Omega's Rhinebeck Campus (see link below), one of the world's premier yoga and wellness centers, this house is perfect for a weekend escape or a couple seeking the beauty of Hudson Valley for the season. This house in the hamlet of Clinton Hollow, on the edge of Rhinebeck. The house is situated only a few feet from beautiful Little Wappinger's Creek and has a waterfall on the property. It is about one-and-one-half hours north of Manhattan on the Taconic Parkway.

Originally built in the mid-nineteenth century, the house has been recently remodeled. Adding to the quaintness, the ceilings are approximately seven-feet high and exposed, original beams can be seen throughout the house.

We are sure you will enjoy the house as much as we do! This house is perfect for a couple seeking a quiet retreat, an avid yoga enthusiast, or anyone who loves the country. A convenient general store is within walking distance. Both Rhinebeck and Poughkeepsie are 15 minutes away by car. Millbrook is about ten minutes away. Dozens of historic houses, mansions, museums, and the entire Hudson River are all located nearby. The Berkshire Hills of Massachusetts are only an hour away.

While beautiful, peaceful, and unbelievably relaxing, this home is probably not ideal for small children. The house is very close to the water and there is no fence or barrier between the house and the water. It is best to be enjoyed by adults.

First floor - entry area with small office, kitchen, dining room, and living room.
Second floor - two bedrooms (one with Queen-size bed and one with a full-size bed & double-size futon) and bathroom.

E-mail us below for more pictures of the interior and exterior of the house.

    • We really enjoyed our time in this quaint country home. The home is warm and welcoming complete with beautiful flowers around the property and a porch overlooking a creek filled with wildlife. From the house, we also enjoyed visiting local attractions including farmers markets, restaurants, the Culinary Institute of America, and the Roosevelt and Vanderbilt Mansions. We even got to watch a local fireworks show from the porch during our cookout on the 4th of July! I highly recommend this relaxing home as a weekend get-a-way.

    • For my wife and I, this house on Wappingers Creek is the zenith of tranquility, relaxation and happiness. We have returned several times in various seasons and though our jaunts out to Rhinebeck, Hudson and other towns were wonderful, our best moments were simply relaxing on the porch over the creek, cooking for each other in the perfectly arranged kitchen, or just letting the sun fall on us as we lay late in bed in the morning. Patrick, the owner, is an absolute delight and made everything about our visit easy and pleasant. We're looking forward to our next visit to Clinton Hollow!

    • We had a wonderful week at this charming, historic house on Wappingers Creek. The owner has maximized the interior space and we really enjoyed the open kitchen and the small office area overlooking the garden and the creek -- it makes it much easier to check into the office email when looking at the turtles sunning themselves on a log and ducks swimming in the creek! Kitchen is perfectly equipped and the bedrooms are quite comfortable. The flower beds and landscaping are a pleasure for the eye! Great location in the Hudson Valley, close to historic landmarks, to hiking and biking, and to local farmer's markets. Highly recommended!

    • For 25 years, we three women have enjoyed an annual vacation together, going to various rental properties. All have been good times together, yet this year's vacation was wonderfully unique because we stayed at the house on Wappinger's Creek. We love nature and were thrilled by all we saw from the deck of the house. The creek and the marsh on the other side of the creek were like a nature preserve. Within the first 24 hours, we saw deer, muskrats, turtles, chipmunks, ducks, a great blue heron, a red-tailed hawk, and numerous other birds. We especially loved watching the muskrat family during our five days at the house, as well as the heron and the ducks which returned daily. One day we saw eight turtles lined up on one log, sunning themselves. We also enjoyed the man-made sights to see in the area, and the accommodations in the house were very comfortable. Thank you, Patrick, for sharing your wonderful home with us!
